I was there...in a field....tired, pissed and a wee bit stoned, amongst 100,000 ish people. When they played this, I was alone in that field, and they were playing this for me, and me alone. A Glorious Day indeed. Incredible band.
I don't think I'll ever not get chills from when he sings "glooooorious day", it's one of the best vocal melody bits he's done. Just comes at random and is perfect, sets the tone for the mood of the outro.
Christ! Can't believe I ignored this band for nearly 20 years. Took me a while, but I've matured! Amazing. Still working my way through the bends and ok. It's like discovering a new band for me. Would recommend anyone who has a pre-conceived idea about radiohead to give them a listen. They have a way of tuning into your real self.
I'm on a roll, I'm on a roll This time, I feel my luck could change Kill me Sarah, kill me again with love It's gonna be a glorious day Pull me out of the aircrash Pull me out of the lake I'm your superhero We are standing on the edge The Head of State has called for me by name But I don't have time for him It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck could change Pull me out of the aircrash Pull me out of the lake I'm your superhero We are standing on the edge
The way I keep telling myself "this is as good as it gets" when listening to Radiohead only to discover a song I haven't heard before and it completely blows my mind and i'm all obsessed again like its no-one's business
No other bands music spans the sublime to the ridiculously sublime. No other band reaches out into an untouchable cold, deep, emotional space that is haunting & yet endlessly comforting. They'll not only reduce you 2 tears but will make the hairs on ur skin spit with electricity. They tear ur soul open, & force u 2 confront feelings which u don't even have a name for. Despair perhaps, numbness perhaps, or perhaps the way it feels just to b a human in this inhumane century we are living in...
I love this song so much Radiohead always makes me fly Im on drugs but with a band like this you really really don´t need anything else to be in a trip...
Amazing - saw them at Outside Lands SF this year. Radiohead delivers the best live show I have ever seen. Perfect. Watch "You and Whose Army" or "Everything in its Right Place" from outside lands and you'll see...
Never forget about the moment in my life that someone told me “don’t buy OK Computer album they are boring”. I did buy it and thankfully I have to say it remains my number 1 till today!
2:46 I don't know what's happening in music terms here but somehow he sings this part differently from any other version, and it's the most beautiful thing I have ever heard in my life. It's so cathartic my heart could burst.
One of the most amazing performances i've seen by them! Will see them tonight in Palm Beach, my second time seeing them live and i'm ecstatic! Will post some vids, so look out!
i hate it when people compare muse with Radiohead, i really dont care about who is better, im not a fan of muse myself but i am proud that i grew up listening to Radiohead
I think Phil's suits are fucking classy, and give the band a professional vibe that sets them apart from everyone else (if their fantastic music didn't do that enough already)

@yeahacoustic Of course they are one of the biggest bands ever. And my personal favourite. That being said, the only people I know in all of North America don't know anything in music other than what's on the top 40 radio stations. And we can say that there is no Radiohead on those stations, it's mostly Katy Perry or whatever the flavour of the month happens to be. Of course there are fans in North America of Radiohead, just much less so than other parts of the world.
Every time I listen to a radiohead song I say to myself "no this one is my favorite"
OMG, my thoughts exactly!!!!
Yeah the best songs ever.
The same here!
exactly!you mind reader
hahaha luckily im not the only one who think like that
I was there...in a field....tired, pissed and a wee bit stoned, amongst 100,000 ish people. When they played this, I was alone in that field, and they were playing this for me, and me alone. A Glorious Day indeed. Incredible band.

I was there. It was the most amazing concert I've ever attended.
I agreed .It was the most amazing concert I’ve seen.I thought Thom was most sexy in this concert. You are so lucky !

I don't think I'll ever not get chills from when he sings "glooooorious day", it's one of the best vocal melody bits he's done. Just comes at random and is perfect, sets the tone for the mood of the outro.
I love that part myself...very powerful...
The way he says at the beginning are you having a nice time knowing full well he’s blowing everybody’s mind is sexy as hell 🤤
the greatest band ever
The beatles*
@@dbcooper9584 tbh Radiohead is better than the beatles
Everytime I tell people I think Radiohead are the greatest of all time I'm looked at like I'm nuts...
@@alexmalchradiohead is my favorite band of all time but the beatles are the best band of all time
@@justinalbee5414 Yeah I’ve changed my mind, I think so too now

I'm starting to listen to this band, I know what you feel because I ignored them too
I started fangirling when I was 13. And I'm 14 now, I started to listen to Radiohead last last month. So glad I entered in this fandom
same story with me. I dismissed it due to my metal taste.
Man I mostly listen to rap, but I’m so glad I discovered them this year, they’ve completely blown me away.
I first heard creep and thought there’s no way they have better tracks than this😅 I’ve been proven completely wrong
I'm on a roll, I'm on a roll

Their music has a poetry for sure. Greetings from Turkey.

Aaaa türk
Gitaristi geliyor en azından İstanbul a
Oğuz Tokur geldiler ama ramazanda alkol içilen bir ortamda olduklarından bir grup yobaz mekanı bastı ve onlarda arada dayak yedi
I listen to this once a day every day .
Don’t we all?
"Kill me Sarah
Kill me again with love"
this sounds so beatiful and chaotic!
04:00: One of the most intense and iconic moments in the entire music history!
Here one last time for 2023. Bye 2023. Finding This video was the best part of my year.
This song makes me so emotional everytime I listen to it and I can say everyday. Radiohead gives such a climax to our own sensibilities.
The way I keep telling myself "this is as good as it gets" when listening to Radiohead only to discover a song I haven't heard before and it completely blows my mind and i'm all obsessed again like its no-one's business
The crescendo after the final chorus is just unbelievably amazing
One of the greatest concerts ever...
I still remember listening to this song growing up - it was the song that affirmed my love of this band
Awww his introduction made me smile!
Dont take his words seriously
