0:49 the way Thom sang the name Sarah, almost takes your breath away, it was so sweet. Unusual for Radiohead to use name's in their songs. Especially female ones
Love the use of either a mellotron or synthesizer throughout the recorded version and in 2nd verse here as well. Reminds me of the sweeping melodies of 1970's Genesis.
I am not familiar worth this show, but I recognized it because it was the same show where Jeff Buckley did the greatest performance on the internet. This performance is wonderful as well. Brings me back to when music was at it’s best.
I'm on a roll I'm on a roll, this time I feel my luck could change Kill me Sarah Kill me again with love It's gonna be a glorious day Pull me out of the air crash Pull me out of the lake 'Cause I'm your superhero We are standing on the edge The head of state, has called for me, by name But I don't have time for him It's gonna be a glorious day! I feel my luck could change Pull me out of the air crash Pull me out of the lake 'Cause I'm your superhero We are standing on the edge We are standing on the edge
I think it's for the magic of Johnny Greenwood playing the Mellotron In the studio version and live, they reduce the volume of the sound too much This is an exception and the sounds is besutiful
@@VictorGuti369 the mellotron sounds different in the studio version, bc it was recorded in 1996 and the band didnt have a mellotron yet, so they got the badly pitch-shifted mellotron choir from emu classic keys. he plays it in a different way too that is why the mellotron in lucky in live performances before the release of ok computer sounds different than 1997
Fantastic sound and video. Subscribed! I think it’s the first time I’ve seen Thom play a Rickenbacker. Got to finally see them on the Moon Shaped Pool and what a show.
They must have a special relationship with France. They seem to really bring it on French TV shows and concerts. This was an awesome performance of this great song.
Sweet cover. Abbas greatest hits was one of my first record purchases in the 70’s. My first trip to the record store when I was 9 that eventually turned into a job 7 years later after being kicked from my school and home. Abba set me on a pathway of destruction! Best thing that ever happened even though it was rough. Still one of the best jobs I ever had. I only ever hurt my back on the job playing hackysack. Love you guys ! I still love me some ABBA and scored a Bee Gees Course lp this weekend. Have you covered any Harry Nilsson songs? Funny how one song can excavate so many memories. Only smell can do the same, even more than a photograph. Thank you 🙏
Mais d'où sort cette incroyablement bien numérisée collection d'archives Pascal Burger ? Avez-vous la possibilité de mettre en ligne les performances de My Iron Lung (Radiohead) de 95 ou 96, le live de REM en 1999 (Lotus, At my most beautiful), éventuellement Buckley Hallelujah ? Merci !
Bonjour.
@@pascalburger7379 Well, I was saying it because I imagine that the original clip must have better quality, but it's fine, I was just asking if you could pass it on, thanks anyway
J Greenwood leading us to heaven with those keys 😊😢
One of the most beautiful songs in the Universe
The most inspired and inspiring band ever ...
Radiohead, at the height of their powers here. Mesmerising performers.
I'm in a trance

Indeed. I’ve always thought it was a clever play on the phrase “que sera sera” meaning “whatever will be will be”.
2nd verse vocals are amazing
It’s gonna be
A GLOOOOOOOOOOORIUS DAAAAY
That part always gets me
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeddddd! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeddddd!
Welcome to Radiohead

The sound of this performance is surprisingly good. Nice and crisp

They record there a one hour live for kidA. Love Symbol went there and many more due to Stephane Meunier
Sounds really close to the studio

@@Losfhcexactly, of all times and for ever.
Arguably their greatest song ever ❤
I covered this song once. It was an honor.
Lucky is an extraordinary piece but - to me - Fade out (street Spirit) is their Mount Everest and best song. Arguably of course 😉
They love this song so fking much
Amazing, Ed's backing vocal and Phil's drumming really stood out on this one!

Ed OBrien never gets nearly enough attention for his brilliance.

Really good sound quality on this video! Thanks for sharing!
Superb performance
The (almost and only) 5 minutes I was proud of French TV. ❤
Breathtaking
What an incredible song by such a brilliant band
Beautiful
Stunning
I saw them live in Kansas City and they were even better than listening to the albums.
Thank god I found this video
my new laptop has sht buttons, and i just accidentally paused this in mid flow. Its now outside in my garden. Im livid it did that. Not Ok Computer.
Amazing
Wow wow wow 😻

Is there any chance that you have the clip in mpg or ts format to deinterlace it to 50fps?
Hi. The orginal recording is 25fps and interlaced. I don't have what you are requesting.

Hi Matheus. It's been recorded in the 90's. Not sure exactly of the right year, but something between 1997-1999.
