Had ptosis 'repair' done in Griffin GA which failed, worsening the droop effect & making it impossible to raise my eyelids far enough to avoid the creasing of the cornea which causes a worsening of the vertical monocular diplopia (vertical double image, one eye) than before the operation. Further cutting will make it so the eyelids don't close properly, no doubt.
I have unilateral intermittent drooping that fluctuates throughout the day with my left eyebrow/eyelid. None of my doctors are interested in finding the cause. I wish I knew if it could be caused by Chiari.
Dr Lee, great lecturer. I have a 4-year old son who was born with congenital ptosis. I have making plans for surgical correction but was not quite sure as I did not know a professional “ ptosis” surgeon . Can someone please send Dr Lees contact address? Or better yet how can I contact Dr Lee. I really have to meet Dr Lee please
This is complicated, many doctors have no idea about this and they don't want to study it. It's connected with another thing, so that could make it difficult. Thank you for your explanation. 🙏🏼
Sir idk whether its ptosis or not but whenever I see myself in the mirror the eye lids looks symmetrical but in inverted photos the right eyelid looks slightly droopy and the left eye looks on higher side so it gives a assymetric appearance..,so is this a pseudo effect coz of the photo or is it really ptosis.?I have no problm with the vision neither do have glasses .nor I have any symptoms of pain of muscles on the right side of eye .

What kind of doctor should I be seeing to assess my eyelid. The eyelid feels so heavy and annoying it ruins my day
You should see an ophthalmologist. Is the heaviness same throughout the day or does it change during the day?
Thx 🇵🇸❤❤
Amazing
