Troy's moment of realization that the military radio was playing Roger from Season 2 really justified this format for the show. Seeing the reactions and the realizations is a solid add to what could be just a podcast.
Joe is killing this season!!! The substance of the adventure is scary enough but the addition of confusing the players and 'replaying' a clip only to have them slowly realize it's Roger's own voice... so well done!
I live on 5.5 acres in upstate NY. We bought the kids a small bounce house when they were about 2 that worked until they were 8 or so There's a guy who does local bounce house rentals, and we get one big enough for adults once or twice a year. It's a couple hundred bucks for the day, but everyone loves it.
Yard work is way more pleasant when listening to you folks. This morning I filled a 10 yard dumpster with a bunch of crap from the garage and now I'm butchering deer. Not exactly yard work, but still made more pleasant by you fine people.
I love when the game causes the players to second guess themselves. Skid's moment of doubt ("Did I make an appointment?") is priceless. This is an amazing game thus far, and the "Impossible Landscapes" hardcover is highly recommended. Bravo!
WOW! Joe is doing such a great job with this season. I got got to say listening to Roger listen to himself from the future on a WW2 radio gave me chills. I love this please keep up the great work.
So in the first episode ever of Get in the Trunk, Troy makes specific mention of Roger taking off his shoes when entering guest's homes and how he has harder time putting his left shoe back on. And then the sprained ankle scene happens. Truly this is Cumstone: Year One. Mind blown.
Genuine chills when they re-listen to the transmission and it's different from what they had been hearing. I reeeaaaallly wanna play this game if stuff that spooky can occur.
Loving this. Last time we played DG in our group my character, a highly trained demolitions expert, had to set a bomb in an underground reservoir (about our 3rd sesh in). After lots of careful prep I picked up the dice, and the GM said, "Just don't roll double zeros and you should be good." Well, guess what happened. TPK is what happened. We laughed for a solid ten minutes.
@@TheGlassCannon it was a hoot. It was a few years back before online gaming was very prevalent, but one of the guys had just moved to a Central Asian country bc of his wife's job so he Skyped in (at 8am for him. Dedication!) to play with us. It worked better than we'd anticipated, though his internet there could be spotty. He's back but two of the others (including the DM) are now in other cities and we're completely online.
that symbol is from the lesser key of solomon...its the seal of the demon Purson...and Now Thats What I Call 'Music 53 did not release until 2015...something very fishy going on here...:)
I don’t know if Joe meant to play that second recording. When Roger asks to hear it a third time Joe starts playing a different message and then quickly stops it apologizing. Then after a few seconds he winds up playing it after all. I wonder if Joe messed up and then just rolled with it. Either way, this episode was awesome
I was wondering that too! He had a pretty big grin when it was happening though, so I think he planned it. I think he had to fiddle with volume settings or something for a minute.
I am pondering if that radio is one of the reasons Joe wanted Troy to bring back Roger. I mean that trick is so "easy" and brilliantly creepy and effective.
When there's chess kings everywhere and a play? I got a viscerally uncomfortable feeling at them reading the play, as if someone was doing 'Bloody Mary' in a mirror next to me. Like, no, stop. Don't do that. Come on, no. Took me a moment to remember that the play I was thinking of is not real and can not hurt you. That's a stamp of quality as far as I am concerned.
@@TheGlassCannon Happy to say it. Don't watch a lot of RPG-play because I prefer playing. But I've thoroughly enjoyed this, Voyagers of the Jump, and the Intimate Encounters. So you guys keep doing what you're doing, because it's good. :)
Never played Delta Green or even know the system that well, but it doesn't matter with these folk. Rule set aside, this is some good fucking audio/video storytelling
Wait until you get into gardening. Pro tip fruit trees now while the kids are young. When they are pre teens and teens free fruit is a good thing. I have 8 fruit trees and a huge garden.
The stage directions of “federal agents enter”. It was as if the character were, in fact, talking about Abigail, how her cop father came around, how she left, and then they stopped talking because the feds showed up. They are the only feds to ever show up to the apt building.
Ahh damn it.. I'd have had them roll sanity at the new style of obviously future airplane ticket. They looked a lot different back then. A receipt wouldn't have that aspect
Good GM’ing from Joe. But one critique, making Roger roll to go down a fire escape, really? It’s literally an emergency exit, made for ease of use… but I haven’t been to NY since I was a child so maybe I am overestimating the fire escape conditions there. Chicago Fire escapes could be kinda sus.
I was really enjoying this. I work in mental health, the deflecting of sanity though is something I can't sit with as a game mechanic to enjoy. I see trauma deflected all the time. It's real, this is too close for me. See you on another stream.

obsessed with roger smoking on floors 1-3 and then stomping out the cigarette before going onto the roof
on the carpet, lol

This episode, this right here… you can feel the madness oozing into you.
And sooooo many breadcrumbs on the second listen through. A lot of darts thrown that hit later in the season so hard
Yard work is way more pleasant when listening to you folks.

Not exactly yard work, but still made more pleasant by you fine people.
Joe is the perfect Handler for this show, his knowledge and enthusiasm gives life to every scene.
Enter federal agents sent a chill down my spine.....and I read the book beforehand
Rewatching again, and still getting the creeps. I cannot tell you how much I love this season.
I love when the game causes the players to second guess themselves. Skid's moment of doubt ("Did I make an appointment?") is priceless. This is an amazing game thus far, and the "Impossible Landscapes" hardcover is highly recommended. Bravo!
Joe has gotten the cliffy mastered for Delta Green omg
When they said *enter federal agents* i didn't even feel comfortable in my own home anymore
They’re killing it. Never felt this creeped out by an actual play, especially one where I actually know what’s gonna happen next.
Fox Mulder was a federal agent too and he was solid lol...
@Iladel Productions one of a kind. I still wouldn't trust the rest of his office.
WOW! Joe is doing such a great job with this season. I got got to say listening to Roger listen to himself from the future on a WW2 radio gave me chills. I love this please keep up the great work.
Everybody's reaction to Francis' "ad lib" in the reading of the screenplay had me dying.

He said he has two left feet on his date last episode 😂
Skid's reactions to the weird creepy stuff going on are so great!
Rewatching season 4 after watching season 5 really allows your mind to be properly blown.
Loving this series so much - especially since I decided to run Impossible Landscapes about a week before y’all started this playthrough!
Good, you are playing your part. Did you read your lines?
Genuine chills when they re-listen to the transmission and it's different from what they had been hearing. I reeeaaaallly wanna play this game if stuff that spooky can occur.
Such a good moment! You should give Delta Green a try, it is an amazing game!
@@TheGlassCannon I've been binging the show, and it has convinced me to order not only the two main books but Impossible Landscapes, as well.
Skid’s voice for Neil do be sounding like Nicholas Cage
Roger walks down the hall saying, "Here, puppy, puppy, puppy."
Dog immediately jumps out the window and climbs down the fire escape.
I've now lost track of how many times I've rewatched this ep specifically to watch everyone's different reactions and tics.
Get in the trunk is one of my favourite glass cannon network.
Have Troy as a player is funny as hell.
Keep up the good work.
Love Joe behind the wheel of a game. All the guys have such distinct GM styles

What a creative work. The radio and alle the confusion. What a great way to tell a story.

100% we moved back from AZ to MA in 1986 after just 8 years we missed snow on Christmas.
@Francis, rewatching this season. Is Janice Rossi a play on Janet Rossi from Goodfellas?
It is supposed to be 2015 on the plane ticket.
shhhhhhh thploirth
@@CourtneyVarner Well, you don't want them going on thinking it's a typo on the handout.
@@rob7953 I would up until the reveal later. Let them think it's a typo, both in and out of game.

I just discovered this on a friend's recommendation. You all are killing it! I was waiting for Roger to ask if she spit in his coffee, lol
and yeesh ! Burning a BOND to ash already ... just EP 4 :P

Every time she says "Christopher" it reminds me of Andrea from the Sopranos. Cristophuh!
Thanks!
I'm a year late to this show, but I'm glad I found it.
Glad you found us!
What does that mean? "Figure out their cursive?" 🤔
Roger Cumstone is so hilariously incompetent
Scratchy radio stuff always gives me the heebie-jeebies. Pretty sure it's because of the Yosemite Sam broadcast.

SPOILERS FOR THIS EPISODE
Why was 3033 important again? Was it because the 3s were blanked in the phonebook?
Can you book a plane ticket 20 years in advance?
start a cyberpunk red campaign come onnnnn
Let’s see. NY city or close to it or my rural 30 acres where I can’t see my neighbors. I’m good thanks.
Hahahaha
the 2015 ticket was from 2015 though
aha! he gets to that, excellent
starts ~ 13:40
Man I miss my pagers -- so concise, not as much inane chatter -- folks would just call -- was so nice!
I lived in AZ for 8 years you had to stay in side on sunny days
Enter federal agents...
Wait is there any number correlation? No 3 in the phone book but the part says 4 floors even though there are only 3??
I think they weren't counting the ground floor. So ground floor plus 3 more. At least that's how I understood it.
Seriously all cut scenes and npc scenes should be done in the form of a play!
This is awesome, who needs critical role (sorry, just my opinion)
no need to tear others down to lift others up.
