My children were high achievers. Rewards, pictures of events and student work were many. I bought each of my children a three ring binder. As they grew they became responsible for their binders. It was so much fun to place their binders on the sofa table when they graduated. They averaged about 3 binders each by the time they graduated. The pages were paper protectors and creativity was not limited. Our extended family members all live far away. They were delighted to see these binders. My children (4) all graduated high school, college and other programs. They all have successful careers and their own families. I truly believe those binders were instrumental in instilling pride, responsibility and success in their educational journey.
My hubby & I moved last July & bc of my poor health a lot of stuff from nearly 40yrs had to come too. My goal is to get rid of all the xs in 2024, so that in the years left to us, we can truly enjoy slow living 😊 Thnx for your vids mxxx
I make sure sink is clear every night. I also set out clothes for next day for me and my son. Dont have pantry but am trying to get kitchen more organized.😊
Hi there sweetie pie hope you are well I always try to clean my kitchen lounge room and bathroom before I go to bed it is good start to the day love from Eugenie your friend xxx I have grandchildren now I put paintings in folders 💞🏡🌟
My “pantry” is a medium sized separate furniture cabinet and a couple of my regular kitchen cabinet shelves for cans/sauces condiments, etc. Lol. I don’t really consider baking and spices as part of the official pantry tho. Although I also have a dedicated space for both baking supplies and spices. Scaling down my dishes and such has helped a lot with being able to have a small makeshift pantry (plus baking and spices) and everything I need to be able to fit into a small kitchen and for it to work efficiently. I feel like for me the food needs to have the prime real estate in the kitchen. And you only need just enough dishes to keep up with that (which can be more frequently washed). For me tho I’m loving the Correlle life, as those dishes take up so little space, stack brilliantly, aren’t clunky or heavy, easy to clean and are highly durable. Plus my kitty saucers are now even Correlle and what a game changer that has been (along with my new idea of using an old sheet pan for various kitty treats etc lol). I also found all of them at the thrift store. Lol. Win win. My daily reset revolves mostly around clearing my kitchen sink, (some days it’s with “cheats” such as “dirty dish bucket” lol), a bit of tidying and keeping up with daily kitty feeding/watering and their messes (which often involves a bit of sweeping and spot vacuuming as well as puke or pee or poop removal lol). And then also setting up my coffee routine for the next morning. Lol. I now look at it like “what will my future self be thanking or cursing me for the next day?” Lol. So I often go ahead and do it Bcuz my tmrw self will have it much easier if I do it now. I think my next “project” tho is going to be to rehab/ organize all the photos/photo albums.
This is a major issue for me as I have mobility and health issues. My doctor even said "you need to rest like 20-30 minutes between big task and make sure your not causing more issues" .. If I was able to move better my house would be so much better!!
Love these tips!!! I also look over my upcoming week on Sundays, schedule an admin day when I am off work on Fridays and do a nightly routine (dishes, trash, tidy and one laundry load) I'm going to tackle my bathrooms this month alongside you - thanks for the motivation Always rooting for you!!!!
I can't leave dirty dishes overnight- dried on food and the smell of dirty dishes sitting for hours? Ewe! I will leave handwashed dishes drying overnight, that's my compromise. I have 14 loads of wash per week, so I break it up into 2 loads per day.
I always make sure the kitchen is clean every night before bed.

Every night, I try to do a reset. This includes putting things away, folding throw blankets in the living room, and doing the dishes.
Same! I like waking up to a clean kitchen at least.😅❤

please I need a video on your whole house color scheme! it's so cohesive and easy on the eyes! Visually it's just... perfection!
I don’t have a pantry so using a couple kitchen cupboards is all I have. I have to make it work.

When you mentioned resting more than 5 minutes it reminded me of another channel where the lady said, "once your feet get comfy, it's all over" 😂
