Yes it is i am a ipad user and i am doing btech in CSE so i need a laptop but I recently bought a ipad so i cant buy a laptop so i get to know about it and i am using AWS EC2 Cloud pc and its my best decision for note taking ipad and for coding i use This and it works super smooth and plans are super cheap
I have a PC at home running RDP and using Jump Desktop to remote in will allow you to have full screen on an external monitor. Much better and cheaper solution than Win 365. $45 dollars per month for something decent is outrageous.
Jump is the absolute best solution if you need to access windows programs on an iPad Pro. Yes you need to have your host PC running at all times, but it is still less than paying the stupid prices Microsoft wants you to pay for this garbage. The good thing about Windows 365 is that it does allow you to run X86 programs.
FYI the latency is because of the distance of the client when you ran the test it said it was in Washington if it was closer to you it would obviously be faster which is what shadow Remote Desktop does
I find the need for Windows365 instead of the native iPad office apps in many instances. For example, in powerpoint, I often add in a few company-branded slides from one deck to another. When doing so on the desktop, I paste and retain the branded format. In the iPad app, I'm not aware of that option, so it ruins the look of my decks.
Whoever says using Microsoft version of Excel for iPad gets to 90 to 95% there clearly do not know how to use Excel. The iPad version is SO limited you CANNOT do any real work on it
So it can less than an RDP connection to a vm on ipad pro? With RDP i can copy and paste from safari to to RDP on my iPad Pro without issues. But that is the only thing a normal Vm can do more, because file copy from iPad Pro to vm is not working (their is a shared space files on iPad Pro so you an access files directly) USB tumb drive same issue. In my case my camera share is not full Color but green and black only.
Microsoft is a day late and a buck short. This is trash, the pricing, the specs, the lack of features, the million better alternatives. Who tf would use this?!?!

They won’t let you sign up unless it’s a business or student account. No normal outlook account. I guess I’ll stick with Apple.
