Fun fact if some of you didn't know the studio behind this game "Embark Studios" is comprised of some legendary DICE devs from back in the good ol battlefied days, that's why this will be something special

Between the body types, maneuverability and general speed of things, and gunplay, this looks like a hybrid of Battlefield and Brink if anyone remembers that one.

Literally feels more battlefield-ish than any battlefield we got in the past 5 years
makes sense, embark is pretty much the entirety of dice from 5 years ago
Because, it's actually made for real by some past battlefield developers.
I love how half the video is Jack asking if he can utterly destroy something and being pleasantly assured that, yes, he can be a weapon of mass destruction.

I love how seamlessly people you kill turn into the gold coins, it looks so natural and flows. hopefully in the future they will let us customize the particles killed players turn into

@@akmalrusydi2730 idk really but i could run it perfectly with i dont think a single stutter on a intel i5 10400F with a 1660 and on launch day it will most likely be even more optimized.
Destruction looks like what I hoped it would look like in BF2042. It's so cool!

@@bloodiex5812 yes. They also gave some insight why destruction is so difficult to do in an online battlefield setting. Especially if you have large lobbies.
@@gavinderulo12yeah, I think a lot of people don't seem to understand that the only reason THIS game can have this level of destruction is because there's much less people in a match, no NPCs, and the maps are a LOT smaller.

This is the first time in a long time a game has wowed me with genuine effort, creativity, and visuals.
looks like a game where you dont want to be the best, but have the most fun.
And it's free lol, already looks more fun than most triple A games i've seen
Seeing the trailer before it feels like a cash grab, but after watching gameplays it seems they really put an effort making this game

This is the same level of excitement i used to feel with Battlefield games. Where innovation in mechanics and gameplay design trumped all other micro meta changes geared towards prolonging a live-service battle pass. The fact Jack spends most of this video PLAYING around with the level, the weapons, the mechanics, just to see what's possible... this is what used to happen when a new BF game dropped. So glad Embark are really pushing forward with their vision. And this isn't even accounting for their other title ARC RAIDERS which equally looks insane!

I hope this game holds up for a long time in terms of popularity because it looks very entertaining and fast-paced, made me watch this video till the end.

Me personally love the coin effects after death , kinda remind me of ready player one.
I'm betting the coin death animation was a strategic business decision to lower the age limit of the game. They're going to get tons of business from kids whose parents say no to violent FPSes but might be all right with people vanishing into a bunch of golden coins. I'd buy stock in their company if it were publicly traded, because I think it's going to make a killing from that alone - all the kids who want to play CoD but aren't allowed.

Just a heads up to everyone, something you don't see in this video is there's a 30 second respawn timer every time you die. And if you're respawning while you're teammates are still alive and they all die your respawn timer resets to 30 seconds for all of you.
They gotta change that asap

This looks sick! With the coin noises and the destruction, along with the faint noises of the (something that resembles) arcade noises just gives me soo much nostalgia that I love.
The sound design and lighting gives me strong mid 2010s console game vibes. If there wasn’t any destruction this game looks like it came straight from 2016 on the new wave of Xbox One releases like Splatoon, Sunset Overdrive, PVZ Garden Warfare 2, etc.
And I mean that in a good way.

The games art style and UI really reminds me of Deathloop. This game looks like a blast to play with the squad
deathloop had a more vintage ui and art style, this reminds me more of modern competitions (because that's what it's supposed to be)
the ui in deathloop is pretty minimal and the art style is vastly different, some resemblances do exist though😊
It's definitely got that a more modern version of that minimalist design. It really reminds me of Mirror's Edge with the clean look with pops of primary and secondary colour. Definitely has DICE's DNA in this

This geniunely feels like one of those games that always take their place in your library and one you frequently play for a long time. Been so long since we had a game like this. In some aspects feels like successor to Dirty Bomb but better in basically every aspect.

This game already looks like something special. It's been a long time since I've looked at a shooter and thought that it looked as if it's complete, utter, fun. I can't wait to give this game a try. I love the Sandbox kind of feel I get from this.
I learned a whole ton more from this video than I did from the other dozen videos I've watched with reviewers talking about the game. I didn't know there were environment items that can be used to release goo, didn't know the light class was a 1-shot kill from behind, and didn't know that there was a flame thrower.
Other reviews were a bunch of complaints about it being too chaotic, some saying it wasn't chaotic enough, some saying the cooldowns were too long. Your vid showed me that those were idiotic complaints and I'll definitely be playing this.

Sometimes I think about how cool it would be to show famous gave devs how huge their franchises will become with a time machine. Imagine walking into Id Software and showing John Carmack Doom Eternal while he's coding the original Doom engine in 92.

here I am browsing the steam store because we are seeing some dry seasons in gaming right now but I came across this video and was genuinely shocked by the destruction visuals. It really gave me the same vibe as the collasping tower in Battlefield 4 but your entire maps are able to crumble this way. I hope you guys continue to build this game.

A really good indicator of how fun this game is, is even though my computer doesnt really perform up to par and a of deaths of mine are because of performance hiccups (All my hardware's fault) I still have a GREAT time playing this. The amount of creativity they allow for within individual fights is unreal. Looking forward to final release for sure!
I appreciate the HP bar. Feels like it gives you a good understanding of if you should push in the context of your own health in a gun fight.

So excited for this. I have been following it for sometime now. This is the first uncut gameplay and man it does not disappoint. My most anticipated title right here.
It looks like you can bring experience from virtually any fast-paced fps game into this one with how many gadgets and movement tricks you can use. The goo gun even somewhat reminds me of using blocks in Minecraft

The goo gun is definitely most like Prey (2017)'s gloo gun. Only difference is Prey's Gloo gun can't attach gloo to gloo to let you shoot physic defying sideways stacks like with what Jack did.

The game looks so much more polished than it did in the prior test. Gunplay and movement look more responsive. A little bit more excited to try the game again.

Team X will probably try to grab points as fast as possible while Team Y is obviously trying to stop them. This game in eSports will be like looking at AI learning.
There won't be a competitive scene in this game. It's too messy, too much stuff happening. This won't have a competitive scene like CS or Valorant.
The sound effects and overall "tone" of this game is fantastic. Chaos yes ordered and classy somehow. Really cool mix. Excellent shooting, Jack.

The only thing I'd say is that some of the particles effects looks abit overpowering, your screen can literally fill up with effects

This is the first multiplayer fps I’ve seen in a while that isn’t following the cookie cutter mould of esports where fun is factored in after form. This is also the first game I’ve seen that truly looks next gen, I’m excited to see what this game does for the community.

Its been a very long time where games gave me this sort of feeling, this looks amazing.
With some polishing and additions this game looks like it could be some intense all-out fun.
Some opinions of additions would be huge battles like at least 20 v 20 but 50 v 50 would be really sick. Lots of expansive maps. Lots of different game modes and guns.
