Darn, I missed you! I was there around 10am. I got an artist signed pottery flower frog, some drapes, a butterfly scarf and a Chico's necklace. I would have loved to have met you. Maybe someday? I love to thrift but I'm not a reseller. I have found some great treasures here in Ocala. If you are ever looking for someone to source for you, let me know. I am happy to learn about all kinds of items. I like that you explain what you come upon that may or may not, in your opinion, be a good resale pickup. You don’t just focus on what you buy and I always learn from your videos! I used to fly by clothes but I’m learning that when that’s what I come across sourcing I know how to shop for them.

I know what you mean about buying what's available to you. I never find nice glass when i'm thrifting. Maybe milk glass every once in a while. But it's usually chipped, or too pricey.
I've purchased a couple of nice purses recently. I love vintage jewelry, but it's harder to find now. 😕

It's not Quaker Factory, it's Quacker Factory. Quack - like a duck. Thirty two Degrees is sold at Costco, not much value since they aren't expensive to begin with, so you really need to check closely at the tag.
We all make mistakes and that's ok. I paid a dollar I'm ok learning then I'll know not to get it the next time. Just 1 thing from all of what I got will pay for it all, so overall it's a very profitable trip

I love picking up Tervis, too. It’s made in Venice as well as a new location in North Port. So I tend to find a LOT of it.

I think I inherited the Tervis gig from you, Kat. Geez, now I see them everywhere now, LOOK what you've done. Unfortunately my Goodwill got the memo and lately prices them around $8. Nope. on THAT. I did finally list a bunch of them this week, a few individual and a few lots of 2 or 3. Clothing? Easy to ship but getting VERY picky as most just sit forever and a day. Coats and jackets have been good though, esp XL.
See that would stop me from buying them LOL. Yes all things XL and bigger is what I tend to concentrate on unless new with tags or a really good brand

Often hear good info from Kat, but that time lapse camera technique is like watching a 1920s era silent film, and it's REALLY hard to watch. Sure would be better if you could smooth it out. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply , Kat. What I mean is that the video quality seems like it's not smooth, like maybe the frames per second is too low or something. When you film in your regular studio, it's smoother. Maybe you use a different camera when you source or something like that. Not trying to troll you or anything, just wanted to let you know. Hope I explained that ok. (Gonna watch no matter what!❤)
I'm so confused as I just watched one of your other videos where you say that you don't know much about clothes, and wanted viewers to inform you about what you should be on the lookout for. Now, on this video, you say people ask you why you buy so many clothes. I know I watched you on numerous previous videos picking at clothing thrift stores
I know about some things, mens clothes I do well with, also vintage nightgowns and tshirts. However, I'm not overly knowledgable on womens clothing but I'm trying to learn more. I see tons of clothes so I want to learn more to be able to know what to pick up

In the last few videos, you've been repeating how you don't know much about women's clothing. I'm getting a little impatient hearing this. You put out out research videos all the time, so you know how to gain knowledge about an area that's new to you. You need to look comps up -- that's all there is to it
I picked up more this time because I am learning, and I'll learn by picking up more. I do know how, but they simply aren't that interesting to me which makes it hard even though yes I'm well aware how to look up comps, but in these sales alot of times there is no time to sit and lookup brands. I've also watched videos on the subject and made lists but unfortunately my brain doesn't remember it 🙃 thanks for the feedback
Plus, I think it's harder to sell women's clothing because, well, we are pickier then men. I think there would be alot of returns in my opinion. So keep on doing what your doing. I'm sure if an outfit or dress came your way that you instantly knew the designer and knew it was vintage, then I'm sure you would pick it up. Great haul by the way!@@katstreasurehunting
