I went to my first estate sale today. I'm 58 yrs old I was like a kid in a candy store. I bought two beautiful lamps $25.00 each. When I got home I realize they were vintage Lenox lamps. It will not be my last! What I liked was how nice everyone was. Though I had to chase a few people away from the hold table where my stuff was while I did some more looking.
LOL yes I'm always scared of leaving things on the hold table!
Lox and bagels traditionally consist of an open-faced bagel topped with cream cheese, thinly sliced red onions, briny capers, and lox.

Always look for Saladmaster pot and pans. I collect glass Christmas trees. They have really increased in value. Stangl dishes are low priced now. I collect the Town and country pattern which is blue and white spatterware. Unique bookends are great sellers. Good luck with your pearl diving. And have fun!
The technique used on the cute owl pillow is called Candlewicking. Really popular in the 80's. They look like French knots but not quite the same, it's a Colonial knot. My mom made so many pieces back then. I did a few but didn't really like it that much. It's never had another resurgence as a craft since then which is a bit odd. Usually crafts come back around every 15 yrs or so but not this one. Finished items can do well but kits not so much, sadly.

I've not done well with blue ridge most I've sold are worth under 20 which for a breakable isn't enough for me to risk shipping
The tablecloth with the lace and the small pillow, both white with the lace is in the style, called Battenberg

You totally missed the century guardian where the roundish pot is hammered with the glass cop. The glass top by itself is probably worth twenty five or thirty dollars

I didn’t see you check the silverware in the baggy at the second estate sale. Kayla Homeschooling Picker always looks at cutlery, knives and stainless steal and even silver and silver plate and does very well. I’d love to see a video on silverware, knives and pots and pans.
I'm pretty good at telling if it's well made and that one didn't look like it was. I do check if they look nice those were pretty beat up. The pots video came out Monday on my Nurse Flipper channel :)

Do you open up the tablecloths and bedding to check for stains? I am asking because i bought a quilt one time and i only looked at the front, the guy assured me there was no stains. When i got it home and opened it up, there was a blood stain on back about 3 feet in diameter. It looked like something from a crime scene.
I didn't and one has some, but it is still worth listing. If you haven't tried restoration that works amazing for removing stains from vintage linen!

Locks and bagel is a joke sort of for Lox and bagels, lox is salmon you put on bagel with cream cheese. More of a Jewish delight. Thinly sliced.
