Ty! I like when you share what this item is, especially if it’s a particular brand, and your thought process in making a decision whether or not to it! Very helpful Kat 🎉

I found your channel from a subscriber that mentioned your nightie finds to another flipper. My local Goodwill is a lot like this one. I think because we have a Flea Market nearby and the vendors shop there. First of all, little Atlas is adorable! Second, I love your style of shopping and explaining what you get or pass on and why. Third, I LOVE that you are engaging in your comment section which I never see on the other channels. And lastly, your voice is so comforting at the end of the day. My husband and I care for our disabled son that needs full care so we can't go out much to treasure hunt. So it has been very enjoyable to learn from you so that when we get a chance to go out, we know what to look for. I'm a new subscriber, so going to get caught up now on your other videos! Much love from Louisiana!

Kat, you must be at the Goodwill in Crystal River. I have never found hard goods to resell from there. I rely on estate sales and auctions. I live in North Central Florida.

    • @katstreasurehunting

Yes that's the one lol! I get most from estate sales as well. I haven't been to the Gainesville ones in a while but when I did go they were the same

Thanks for your time and the video. Shortly after the black skeleton night shirt. I think a saw a light blue miss elaine or similar gown. Not fancy. But usually very nice quality. You might find them marked ,carriage court. They were made by miss elaine for sears .

My daughter used to buy my 5 grandbabies tons of clothes at Goodwill. But they jacked their prices up. 😕
Bummer on the hard goods. 👎 I always forget to look at linens!

    • @katstreasurehunting
      @katstreasurehunting  7 месяцев назад +1

Hmmm mine is still only $1.98 on like 90% of the baby clothes that sucks they increased them and yeah definitely crappy for hard goods!

  • @GrandmasGonnaFlip

Now Grandma, I know how exciting it is to buy baby clothing especially
a grandchild. You might want to buy 6-9 month size for summer clothing.
Don't forget how fast they grow. I know you can resell them but just
my thoughts, if worth anything lol.

No telling what size he'll be lol they told me they needed warm for now. I go once a week or so so they know to tell me and I'll find it really fast 😆 🤣 😂 😹

I think that green 2 piece Gymshark in the pajama area is a bolo but not positive. Also, I kept hearing a cat in the background…wondered if there was a cat in the store, i knew you did voice over but wasn’t thinking till finally you said you did a voiceover and then I finally got it, it’s your cat. Haha….cat lover here.

You got some great finds here Kat…it’s fun watching what you find in an overpriced store, how you decide on things, and you still did well.
Grandbaby Atlas is a cutie, congratulations! 🥰 What a great Grammy getting him warm clothes for the winter and buying name brands that aren’t really affordable unless thrifted! Atlas is very lucky to have you! 🎉 catch you on the next one!

Hi Kat! Sweet & affordable& high end clothing for your new grandbaby! Fun to look with you. I believe the napkins you identified as Alice Cornell were actually April Cornell Linens made in India. I purchase from April Cornell here in Canada from their clothing & linen lines & they are relatively higher priced. They are online & I also receive their Catalogues. Interesting fabrics, adornments & patterns.

Found a real Versace, or my buddy did, who I get to scour things at the local churches and free stores. He also came up with Jellycat, a really nice Harley Davidson Shirt new with tags but has a oily stain that I figure we will try to get out suffice it to say its a real Harley shirt also free...and all because I told him I was watching your various research and thrifting to find out what is reselling and it really is.
I cannot figure out who would give away a T-shirt that expensive but also how it ended up being given away free and not one person who looked at it grabbed it whether for resale or not, you don't get to wear Versace where I live unless it falls off a truck.
I cannot belive that no one noticed its a logo shirt with the tags and checks out and no one noticed it was Versace? Go figure tho, a new Versace with the price tags was passed over for at least a couple of months to end up being free and the original price was $149 so I'm pretty sure that right there should tell anyone that its real and also that it was purchased in NYC at Saks...and its vintage so WOW but it resides with me to resell now YAY.

@@katstreasurehunting I run my rescue on resale, people donate things for cats I cannot believe and often I resell things that I ask to be donated like clean towels and blankets.
I don't know who expects anyone to use a gorgeous handmade quilt for a cat, I sell those.
Nor could I use a brand new blanket with the tags on it, often I get gorgeous new towel sets, I regift those a lot unless they are Damask or Turkish and the amount of vintage textiles I get is jaw dropping.
I am not kidding when I say that I realize these people do not know what they are giving away, yet it still amazes me what they give me to put under a cat that I intend to throw away after its used.
I am very glad I salvage a lot of what people would actually put in the garbage if I didn't turn it into "cat scratch" to pay for cats that cost a fortune btw, however I also come by my resale honesstly, I use my local FREEcycle and Buy Nothing groups to solicit items to resell instead of asking for actual financial donations.
I find reselling a lot more lucrative as well as consistent expecially when you do what I do, I try to wholesale, I get it free for cats so why gouge anyone and if its worth a lot well then I will figure that out cause I spent over 375k on vet care in 2023.
