Same problem here.. Panel is about 3inches longer.. I have to loosen the screws, find balance between bottom screw alignment and top panel alignment before refitting. It has become 2 person job.
My treadmill functioned just once! the second day after connecting it in the outlet the only thing I could see in the screen is OFF and IDK how to solve the issue!!

I keep getting a E08 and belt feels hot. Ive lubed the belt. Smells hot! Im only 188lb
For some reason the control panel on my treadmill is longer than the tubes so it cant attach on both ends

I also have the same problem. I loosened the side screws that you put in the upright tubes, and pulled them apart until it fit.
Had this same problem so I looked up this video just to see what I was doing wrong
