Really love this book.
Second book is great too.
Waiting for the last one for ages now.
Nice touch with the motorcycle thingie :-)
I've been waiting for the doors of stone well into my adulthood. Seems I'll have to wait till I gain seniority before I can read it. Just hope I have the eyesight for it.
Well, you will most likely see DoS somewhere 2020-2022. He wont publish anything from Temerant as long as Trump is in office and 2020 is the election year. But 2021 is the year we will see 10th anniversary edition of Wise Man's Fear,so not really likely we see both books coming out the same year. Therefore 2022.
Ah hahah. Same!
I absolutely love this book and Wise Mans Fear is great too.
Agreed!
Great video. I hope you’re doing well, you haven't uploaded in 2 years.
Alright... this is the most badass book review evaaar! I didn't get much of it though, partly because English is not my native language and partly because I was too anxious about you driving (not because you are a woman but because I consider bikes suicide machines from hell XD). I was literally expecting you to be hit by a car and your body to fly 40 feet (I have no idea how much 40 feet is but it sounds like a lot) into the air, ending the action sequence in a potato landing. I'm glad that you are ok and that we got to see that fishing man though. Keep achieving your dreams :)
Hey! I read the book for the first time some months ago and I enjoyed it very much. The first part about his childhood with the Edema Ruh was my favourite part of the book and I thought I was going to totally love this if it continued in a similar fashion. I didn't love the Tarbean part, however, and I was eager for the story to go on so we can reach the University. I liked that part better, and the Harry Potter vibes were nice and familiar. I have to agree with you about the ending, it felt a bit forced, especially

Kvothe conveniently buying that magnet stone, I could almost see Rothfuss handing it to him himself to help his plot progress.

And yeah, the fact that he was perfect at everything was the most annoying of all. But overall, I really enjoyed myself and I'm going to pick up the next one at some point!
I agree with your 3rd gripe. I feel Kvothe is OP. He plays a song on his lute after almost a decade of not playing that brings everyone to tears. That doesn’t really click with me because that’s too unrealistic to me.
Also, I half agree with you 2nd issue of the book. However, we have to keep in mind Kvothe is, like, 17. It’s easy for guys at that age to be swept off their feet by a girl.
I’m enjoying the bike videos :)
That is a good point, he's only 17. It just still bugs me, he's so mature in so many ways! Just not girls I guess 😂
Oh and I'm glad you're enjoying the bike videos! I'm certainly enjoying making them
I got about 100 pages into this but didn't really connect.
Oh no really? I loved this one!
Nobody likes Denna.
