This seems like a winner. Amazing case and comfortable strap? Definitely tempted. Glad you cover many topics, though I must admit I have been looking forward to a pocket watch video as well. Excited to see what you have in store for us next week!
Haha. No worries - next week (and several more) are pocket watch stuff. I PROMISE. I’m waiting for a comment from the train conductors of Lancaster - I’m not sure if they’ve forgiven me for dropping this episode first. 😁
Wow that’s a great watch and I love the lume dial. The strap is also very cool and well thought out so for the price point I’d say it’s a fantastic watch and worth every penny. Or Cents. Thank you PWT for another great stream. 😎👍👏
Completely agree. You can’t go wrong for this price point. I wouldn’t buy a MoonSwatch over this… and I own 2. 😂 I think they’ll be getting less wrist time now.
I don’t have the watch anymore. I sold it to a buddy of mine. I didn’t pull out a loupe or any magnification to double check… But, I recall the hand hitting the markers just fine.
Glad I saw your video. As cool as the lume dial is, it’s short life kills it for me. But I wouldn’t mind the automatic version. You can’t beat the price. Tissot is killing it!
Very nice looking PRX! I like how they made the free-ring hook into the strap so it travels with it, really smart design. I'm especially excited to see this upcoming pocket watch content you have in store for us! Great work as always Patrick. 👍
Salut.merci pour la vidéo.la luminescence sur ce cadran est vraiment top.vas voir celle de la version quartz,il n'y a que les aiguilles qui brillent et de façon très faible
As soon as I heard the Letters PRX, my ears pricked up. The one that seems to have caught my attention lately after seeing the 12 and a few other similar offerings lately pitched at this integrated bracelet/strap category. Still watching lol
The CW 12 and the PRX are definitely the well priced versions of the integrated sports watch - my advice would be to try on a PRX personally and see if you like it. That’s a much harder issue with the 12. I tried on the PRX while in New York. I really liked it then but was waiting for a particular model that peaked my interest. I don’t have an issue with quartz… So when this model came out, it was a no-brainer for me. Fun dial, lower price… That’s a win for me.
I purchased one not so long ago, but I quickly got tired with the rubber strap that, for my taste, is a bit too flashy and lacks elegance. I then purchased the steel band and it really changed everything. Now, I truly love this watch with this very special dial. On the flip side, I sometimes wonder, $350 + $120 for the steel band, makes it a $570 which comes close to the automatic one. Perhaps I should have taken this option first
I’ve considered getting the steel band too… I love having options. I definitely agree. The steel will give this watch a lot more class. As for the price with the bracelet… I’m still happier with the quartz. The quartz will last you a lifetime. The automatic movement isn’t a lifetime movement and the service cost for one service would be half the price of the watch. a battery change is a much better option.
Nope. It has to be purchased separately, which is a shame because all other quartz movements come with a standard steel bracelet. As for previous comment, I would agree, I am increasingly changing my mind about quartz, perhaps since I got a Grand Seiko with Spring Drive which is absolutely astonishing. Besides battery life is increasing and it is nice to be always 100% precise. My Tissot has not deviated one second over the past 6 months while not advertising any ultimate precision (nor charging the price premium for it)
I guess I don’t really have love for the integrated sports watch concepts either… I just like the angular lugs, unique case shapes, and some of the designs that come with these integrated sports watches. I’m sure some companies make those designs without the integration… I don’t know. An automatic PRX is definitely a great watch option - I like the green and the glacier blue.
I guess you misunderstood the "Limited Time Online Exvlusive". It sound to me morenlike: "At first, it will be only online. If it sells well, it will be in brick and mortar stores." Although I already have a PRX, I am tempted... The dial is something really unique...
You might be right. Only time will tell… Just like Christopher Ward releasing 300 bel canto and then within hours releasing 300 more. Chase the money. 😂 Which version do you have?
@@PocketWatchTime I do have the 40mm Quartz in Green which I did not plan to buy. It was a Christmas present to myself. I went into the store and they have display models for you to try. So, I picked the blue one, the guy measured my wrist and sized a bracelet. He put it onto the display model (apparently, they store the watches and bracelets outside of the box in a safe storage and put it all together only when you buy it) and it fitted perfectly. The guy went back to storage, put the bracelet onto my watch, packaged it and I went home. Because it was not Christmas yet, I did not want to wear it right away. On Christmas day, I unpacked it and boom, it was green 🤣. But I liked the colour so much that I have kept it 😅. My only nitpick is that it is a bit too large. Like, 1 or 2mm less would be perfect. The 35mm was too small... Problems, I know 🤣
That’s hilarious… I can’t believe they packaged up the wrong color. The green is super nice… plus, it matches your Christmas theme better. 😁 I tried on the stainless steel bracelet version and it was a little too big for me… Thankfully the rubber version wears smaller.
@@PocketWatchTime Yes, it is a bit too large but 🤷. You have to try the Maurice Lacroix Aikon. Even though it has the same size, it feels much more like hugging the wrist. I almost bought it but they only had the black dial and I wanted the blue. Well 🤣
Unpopular opinion I know but I really don't like the PRX, I think it looks ugly. The Tissot Heritage Visodate Powermatic 80 is a far classier better looking piece.
@@PocketWatchTime PRX is sport watch with WR 100 m, Visodate has unfortunately only 30 m. That is big point for me. But yes Visadate has excellent design.
Very nice. The details really look excellent on that one.
Thank you. 🙌🏼
I bought the mint green prx or the so called "tiffany" dial and i cannot be more satisfied. The watch wears great and it catches eyes everywhere i go.
So true. Great watch. Congrats 🎉
Patrick - nice chatting with you on the stream! Love your style, keep telling it like it is!
Thanks Ken. It was fun. Let’s do it again sometime.

Does the second hand hit the marker correctly, confused this one and a citizen echo drive model. Thank you for uploading this cool review.

I won’t disappoint. The next three episodes are pocket watch related. 😁

Is there a way to get this watch with the steel bracelet from the start?
Not yet - only released officially with rubber strap.

@@nmkjnmnjm Completely agree… Quartz has some major advantages.
Fabulous review and what a great value watch. My wallet is twitching the more reviews I look at.
That twitching wallet phenomenon is a dangerous one. 😁
I don't get all the integrated watch fad , but if i were to get one I'd get the mechanical with green dial .

FYI,Green dial is awesome
Always a fan of a nice green watch
Full lume could be cool with automatic and with white strap🎉
I’m sure they’ll put the auto in some day. It’s a fun watch.
