As a music reviewer, I've heard thousands of songs. This one should be rated as one of the all-time greats but most people have never heard of Katzenjammer (or Mats Rybø) never mind the song. Crazy world.
This song is immensely beautiful and entirely indicative of the depth of Katzenjammer’s range, musicianship and the SOULFULNESS running through them. They are simply the best female band. A travesty that they never broke through into Western mainstream (although they had big success in Germany) and moreover that they aren’t still together. I love them dearly since discovering them on RUclips early in 2023. It has to be said as well they’re all attractive, just adding to the ‘package.’ I wish them all well and thanks for three outstanding albums. And of course, your last recording, the title song from the album ‘Rockland’ - whose beauty, harmony and sentiment never fail to bring tears to my eye. Big love. ❤
