GTA 3 was the hardest gta ever. The driving physics alone make driving a nightmare, the timed missions make you drive long distances in such short time available, and there’s little directions in many of the missions
The first time I completed the mission bomb da base act 2 I laughed so hard on 8 ball the way he runs. Lmfao my controller fell of my hand. It was a nice treat after such a hard mission.
You know GTA games are one of those games where if u play them in 2024 like gta 3 and gta san Andreas no one gonna make fun of you or else feel nostalgic because they are masterpiece

Tips for mission E-2-G: - Before the countdown begins, drive around Liberty City, you'll find blue squares even if countdown isn't there yet. - even if you go too far, it will not disappear. Now you can destroy the stalls easily without finding them.
I used to play gta sa and gta 3 on console with my neighbor back when we were like 11 years old. Good times! Now I've got the trilogy on the ps4 and im going for the platinum on San Andreas and 3! :)
I played gta3 on mobile and completed it 2 times and it has full map but I knew the map without seeing it bcoz I played gta liberty city stories on my bro's PSP when I was 5
At the Exhange Mission: If you complete to find ALL of the hidden packages, you can go back to your safehouse at Shoreside Vale to get your weapons. You don't have to follow the helicopter

Most of those missions are not hard and GTA3 is one of the easiest GTA. The first mission acquires you to know the places of those espresso bars, when you do know them, start from the Portland area and then move towards Staunton Island and then Shoreside Vale. If you know all the spots, the mission can be done easily with over 2 minutes remaining. Bomb Da Base: Act 2: Take a car and run over 8-ball softly (don't kill him). That way he becomes stuck underneath the car and you have all the time to sniper those men. Kingdom Come: Try to make one of the cars explode and then run into that isle. A Drop In the Ocean: You really put it here? Wow! S.A.M: You don't need to take a boat to get there, just take a car and wait for the plane to arrive. As soon as it does, just shoot it and then get away. It's mildly hard but nothing compared to the missions like we have in GTA Vice City. The Exchange: This is definitely the hardest mission and for me the only hard mission I struggled with.
There is adrenaline pill back at the entrance of docks in Bomb the base act 2. just drop 8 - ball by the ship, turn around, go back, turn left and run to the stairs with slowed time, that way you can easily shoot up enemies without being in rush

*update: I finished the game for the first time last month after 7 years and I was literally so elated. But now for some reason everytime I get to the loading page of the game it just glitches so now I can’t play it anymore 😢
I easily completed " A drop in the ocean " by going the docks near Asuka's house and go to the nearby " Paint and Spray " and done, freely riding onto Donald Love's .
I completed Espresso 2 Go by flying a Dodo over each island. There are 5 SPANK stands on Staunton Island and 2 in both Portland and Shoreside Vale, which makes 9 in total. I then drove around in an FBI Car, destroying the SPANK stands with a rocket launcher. It takes some practice because the FBI Car is a flimsy thing and it doesn’t take much to destroy it, hence shooting the SPANK stands up with a rocket launcher to reduce ramming them as much as possible. However, what the Feds’ little black cardboard box on wheels lacks in rigidity, it compensates for in performance with great top speed, great acceleration and great handling, coupled with a siren and discreet blue and red beacons so that the traffic moves over - a feature that’s worth its weight in gold in that poxy tunnel.
No matter how hard all the missions was, I did ‘em all with no problem. On Expresso-2-Go, I usually start to the ones in Portland then Staunton Island and then Shoreside Vale. Easy. Bomb Da Base: Act II, no problem. I prefer to do that mission in dark night. I still used the Sniper Rifle. And I hit ‘em fast. Kingdom Come. I been doing the same thing. Go outside of the lot and upstairs on the walls. A Drop in The Ocean. I always carried a Rocket Launcher with me just in case the Police Helicopters shot up my boat. On top of that, I’ve always do the Vigilante mission before I do this mission just so I can collect bribes from the Safehouse. On S.A.M., I always go through Francis International Airport, kill the remaining Colombian Cartels, I know I didn’t have to do that. But I do because I want to. And I work my way back to the safe house and collect the bribes. The Exchange. I always collect all the hidden packages early on and I started to use the alternate method by going back to the safe house, strap up, kill Catalina, in which the time limit is turned off and then I was able to take my time and finish off the Colombian Cartels and Maria is safe. By the way, you forgot Rigged to Blow. That mission is one of the hardest. Even so, I always pass it by taking the alternate route. Instead of me taking the Tunnel route, I go the bridges.
You can pass bomb da act ii easily: firstly, start the mission then go to the mission area (Portland harbour)...drive your car over 8ball's body (now he can't move) then take a rocket launcher by typing gunsgunsguns...go to the roof and start shooting...
GAGS OF WORLD I don’t know about you, but cheating takes the fun out of the game for people like me. Your method works without cheats - park the car on 8-Ball and just snipe the Colombians. Another method that works is to take the adrenaline pill nearby, although I personally haven’t used that method. If you can aim well with the sniper, you don’t need any other tricks to pass the mission.
yah jizzy i found these missions 2 hard specially Kingdom come,and the exchange mission was really hard for me i didn't understand what to do in the mission and every time the helicopter fled away!so i uninstalled the game lol!!well nice video bro
Ok 1)Espresso 2 go:- First search for all the stalls. Then go and destroy them 2) Bomb the base:- Hit 8-balls by a car and keep him down till you sniper all of them 3) Kingdom come:- somehow escape the lot and get to Phil's place.. Get a Rhino 4) A drop in the ocean, SAM, the exchange:- no shortcut
Espresso 2 Go use the bulletproof patriot from Ray's last mission . Kingdom Come escape the lot climb the stairs and just throw everything you have at them . Drop In The Ocean follow the plane collecting the packages go to Asuka's dock grab a vehicle take the first right drive up the ramp to Pay & Spray go back to Donald . S.A.M Buy a rocket launcher from Phil (unless you have 100 hidden packages) drive to the airport destroy the Cartel on the runway wait for the plane destroy it collect the packages head for Pay & Spray in Shoreside then back to Fort Staunton .
Based on my experience and how many attempts i needed for each mission: Express 2 go: 3 tries, the 2nd was ruined cuz the mafia Bomb da base act 2: 3 tries too, but i shooted from the ladder not the roof Kingdom come: 5~6 This is probably the one it took me the most tries i was playing in ps2 so you can't aim unles you use m-16, sniper or bazooka so it's harder than pc A drop in the ocean: 2 tries but i didn't save cuz i wanted to see if i could destrot dodo, i could but after getting the packages it was worth it The exchange: 4~5 tries thx to my exploration doing side mission i saw the m-16 in the colombian house it helped a lot, then took distance from the colombians and stacked on ammo Extra: Ambulance mission: 12~13 tries total damn this one was harder than vice city one, it's a breeze in vc in comparition, 4 tries in portland it was impossible when the game decided to give only 20 secs and Stauton was always a fight with Colombians but the saddest was when one vehicle stricked my ambulance to the park and it exploded (Level 11) then on another try (Level 10) one taxi drove over the patient, hardest mission by far in the game
according to me hardest missions of gta3 are:- 1.Espresso two go ! 2.The Excahange 3.Grand theft auto 4.Bomb da base act II 5.Grand theft aeora 6.Trial by fire 7.Arms shortage 8.Marked man 9.kingdom come 10.Triads and Tribulations.
I got a great strategy for the exchange. Run quickly at that Cartel Cruiser, there is a Body Armor. Now chase Catalina. There is a place where there is a sniper, take it. Then progress. DO NOT USE THE SNIPER UNLESS NEEDED. Go pick up their weapons as you kill them. A Barracks OL will begin chasing you so make it explode. Avoid the missiles. Kill the 3 men near Maria and explode the helicopter.
It took me 4 tries to complete expresso-2-go even with help of the internet Hats off to those completed it on the PS2 version without a guide back in 2001 👏
I wish RUclips was around back in 2001 then I could've had my channel a lot earlier . I've found alternative ways to do alot of missions which are on my channel now .
im did even completed Espresso 2-Go just by using a quick-fast car instead of a bulletproof Patriot! Note For who thinks this is hard enough of they passing Saint Marks district because of Leone attacking them with powerful weapons. No worry, Leone's weapons has been replaced with weak guns in this mission! (not mean during free roam, only during this mission!)
While I was watching this video , i was like oh I remember this mission and these missions were really hard that i never passed these missions at one attempt.lol😂😂
Iconic that Espresso-2-Go and S.A.M, two missions that are very hard for many players, were given by my favorite character, Asuka Kasen. I am surprised nobody hated her just for giving those missions. but man, Rockstar made a huge mistake in killing her off. Because Yuka Kasen, who appeared in GTA Advance, is the sole survivor of the Kasen family.
The only difficult mission i found on gta 3’s pc version is waka gashira wipeout. That is because the yakuzas are equipped with m16 rifle and can literally rip your vehicle to shreds
As you reach the roof in the car park stay next to the wall near the ramp and start shooting 3 or 4 yakuza guys will run towards you just keep shooting until they're dead then run Kenji over then get out of there , head out of Newport and get out of the car .
This game is hard as fuck on every platform. Every car explodes with 2 shotgun shots, and NPC with shotguns or assault rifles are really strong. This is by far the hardest 3D GTA.
4 the mission expresso 2 go, what I do and recommend 4 whom ever. Is 2 drive all around through shore side, staunton and portland in ray’s bullet proof patriot but make sure u have enough rockets. And as u drive through the areas of islands, up they’ll pop up left and right on ur map. Than u can blast them up all u want. It’s just a little something that helped me out. Rigged To Blow just go over the bridges and be careful not to crash don't have to worry about the Mafia because their hostility meter is turned off for this mission . Marked Man use the subway tunnel at Liberty Campus and take a right this should take you to Shoreside Vale now just drive to the airport don't worry about driving back over the bridge the CIA are not really a threat after Ray has got to the airport .
I understand this video is more like top hardest storyline missions in gta3, but to be honest, the hardest mission in all game is the paramedic side mission. It took me roughly two weeks to complete it. Maybe you could eventually make a list about hardest side missions in 3d gta era?
Hardest missions in: Vice City Stories GTA IV (and its two dlcs) GTA V Liberty City Stories (or Tales from Liberty City, whichever is the GTA3 spinoff)
@GameNade Like, the time in Asia is ahead to Europe, so The Jizzy could be from Asia and Okuta Jager could be from Europe, in another way it doesn't make any sense.
The exchange is the hardest mission in the game especially on the ps4 version, enemies can kill you within seconds and not to mention your weapons also has been taken away.
The exchange is very easy IF: you get at least 90 hidden packages because you're gonna need the M16 and a sniper rifle to kill all of the enemies in your path.
Espresso to go use the bulletproof patriot from Rays last mission to scout the locations of the stalls then destroy them the timer won't start until you destroy the first stall .
On Drop in the Ocean, if you take the right route you’ll be right near Paint ‘n’ Spray. If you go there it gets the star rating cleared meaning it’s like of a mad rush trying to get back to Donald Love HQ lol.
You know what u just realized.... Bomb da base:Act II us very similar to the Merryweather heist in GTA 5 where Michael plants the bombs on the ship and Franklin shoots them with a sniper.
Easiest way I know of completing Bomb da Base successfully. Go around the warehouse and get the steroids and then rush upstairs. This way your time slows down so It's easier for you to aim. Now, the first shot should be on the down left side guy. Leave the right side guy alive, that is the last guy you want to kill. Now kill all the others from left to right. First shoot the barrel to inflict damage on the guys nearby, killing some of them. After you kill everyone inside the ship, kill that right side guy that went to the car. After you kill him, 8-Ball will proceed to bomb the ship.
I kept picking up the rocket launchers from the previous mission, failing by jumping in the water then after ending up at the hospital go to start the mission again. I got 60 rockets this way!

agreed, but the hardest mission in GTA 3 is silence the sneak that u need to throw the grenades to the protection house that requires luck
You can use the rocket launcher instead.

Espresso 2 Go use the bulletproof patriot from Ray's last mission . Kingdom Come escape the lot climb the stairs and just throw everything you have at them . Drop In The Ocean follow the plane collecting the packages go to Asuka's dock grab a vehicle take the first right drive up the ramp to Pay & Spray go back to Donald . S.A.M Buy a rocket launcher from Phil (unless you have 100 hidden packages) drive to the airport destroy the Cartel on the runway wait for the plane destroy it collect the packages head for Pay & Spray in Shoreside then back to Fort Staunton .
Based on my experience and how many attempts i needed for each mission:
Express 2 go: 3 tries, the 2nd was ruined cuz the mafia
Bomb da base act 2: 3 tries too, but i shooted from the ladder not the roof
Kingdom come: 5~6 This is probably the one it took me the most tries i was playing in ps2 so you can't aim unles you use m-16, sniper or bazooka so it's harder than pc
A drop in the ocean: 2 tries but i didn't save cuz i wanted to see if i could destrot dodo, i could but after getting the packages it was worth it
The exchange: 4~5 tries thx to my exploration doing side mission i saw the m-16 in the colombian house it helped a lot, then took distance from the colombians and stacked on ammo
Extra:
Ambulance mission: 12~13 tries total damn this one was harder than vice city one, it's a breeze in vc in comparition, 4 tries in portland it was impossible when the game decided to give only 20 secs and Stauton was always a fight with Colombians but the saddest was when one vehicle stricked my ambulance to the park and it exploded (Level 11) then on another try (Level 10) one taxi drove over the patient, hardest mission by far in the game
according to me hardest missions of gta3 are:-
1.Espresso two go !
2.The Excahange
3.Grand theft auto
4.Bomb da base act II
5.Grand theft aeora
6.Trial by fire
7.Arms shortage
8.Marked man
9.kingdom come
10.Triads and Tribulations.
THEY ARE VERY HARD NOT SO EASY
But according to me they are very hard....

I got a great strategy for the exchange.
Run quickly at that Cartel Cruiser, there is a Body Armor. Now chase Catalina. There is a place where there is a sniper, take it.
Then progress. DO NOT USE THE SNIPER UNLESS NEEDED.
Go pick up their weapons as you kill them. A Barracks OL will begin chasing you so make it explode. Avoid the missiles. Kill the 3 men near Maria and explode the helicopter.
It took me 4 tries to complete expresso-2-go even with help of the internet
Hats off to those completed it on the PS2 version without a guide back in 2001 👏
I wish RUclips was around back in 2001 then I could've had my channel a lot earlier . I've found alternative ways to do alot of missions which are on my channel now .

For who thinks this is hard enough of they passing Saint Marks district because of Leone attacking them with powerful weapons. No worry, Leone's weapons has been replaced with weak guns in this mission! (not mean during free roam, only during this mission!)

Iconic that Espresso-2-Go and S.A.M, two missions that are very hard for many players, were given by my favorite character, Asuka Kasen.
I am surprised nobody hated her just for giving those missions. but man, Rockstar made a huge mistake in killing her off. Because Yuka Kasen, who appeared in GTA Advance, is the sole survivor of the Kasen family.
I was quite sad when she died, I liked her too

The only difficult mission i found on gta 3’s pc version is waka gashira wipeout. That is because the yakuzas are equipped with m16 rifle and can literally rip your vehicle to shreds
As you reach the roof in the car park stay next to the wall near the ramp and start shooting 3 or 4 yakuza guys will run towards you just keep shooting until they're dead then run Kenji over then get out of there , head out of Newport and get out of the car .
This game is hard as fuck on every platform. Every car explodes with 2 shotgun shots, and NPC with shotguns or assault rifles are really strong.
This is by far the hardest 3D GTA.
4 the mission expresso 2 go, what I do and recommend 4 whom ever. Is 2 drive all around through shore side, staunton and portland in ray’s bullet proof patriot but make sure u have enough rockets. And as u drive through the areas of islands, up they’ll pop up left and right on ur map. Than u can blast them up all u want. It’s just a little something that helped me out. you forgot the "rigged to blow" and "marked man" mission
Rigged To Blow just go over the bridges and be careful not to crash don't have to worry about the Mafia because their hostility meter is turned off for this mission . Marked Man use the subway tunnel at Liberty Campus and take a right this should take you to Shoreside Vale now just drive to the airport don't worry about driving back over the bridge the CIA are not really a threat after Ray has got to the airport .

I understand this video is more like top hardest storyline missions in gta3, but to be honest, the hardest mission in all game is the paramedic side mission. It took me roughly two weeks to complete it. Maybe you could eventually make a list about hardest side missions in 3d gta era?

The exchange is the hardest mission in the game especially on the ps4 version, enemies can kill you within seconds and not to mention your weapons also has been taken away.

The exchange is very easy IF:
you get at least 90 hidden packages because you're gonna need the M16 and a sniper rifle to kill all of the enemies in your path.
Espresso to go use the bulletproof patriot from Rays last mission to scout the locations of the stalls then destroy them the timer won't start until you destroy the first stall .
On Drop in the Ocean, if you take the right route you’ll be right near Paint ‘n’ Spray. If you go there it gets the star rating cleared meaning it’s like of a mad rush trying to get back to Donald Love HQ lol.

You know what u just realized.... Bomb da base:Act II us very similar to the Merryweather heist in GTA 5 where Michael plants the bombs on the ship and Franklin shoots them with a sniper.
Espresso 2 go is simple because you have to search all the stalls first and then ram them
You don't actually need to use the boat in SAM, you can just drive to the airport runways.

Theres a easy way to complete "espresso to go" locate all stands then start ramming that way you dont waste time looking for them
Also use Ray's bulletproof patriot from his final mission Marked Man very useful especially in Saint Mark's Mafia territory .

Easiest way I know of completing Bomb da Base successfully. Go around the warehouse and get the steroids and then rush upstairs. This way your time slows down so It's easier for you to aim. Now, the first shot should be on the down left side guy. Leave the right side guy alive, that is the last guy you want to kill. Now kill all the others from left to right. First shoot the barrel to inflict damage on the guys nearby, killing some of them. After you kill everyone inside the ship, kill that right side guy that went to the car. After you kill him, 8-Ball will proceed to bomb the ship.
No, just run 8 ball over with a banshee and then proceed killing the cartel

I kept picking up the rocket launchers from the previous mission, failing by jumping in the water then after ending up at the hospital go to start the mission again. I got 60 rockets this way!
