I jumped back into valheim with a fresh playthrough. I hadnt played since just before the mistlands update. The mistlands are bruuuutall, im on my queen key shard hunt. Give me a cozy north!
I've been playing the same game with a friend for a couple of years. When never made a new game when Ashlands was released. As long as you have unopened areas of your seed new updates will just load there. We've just explored in concentrtic circles when we've played so theres always loads of unexplored areas at the edges. New traders have always been added fine. It's totally doable.

Guess I need to get serious in the Ashlands. 2 forts down and boss location discovered, but more grinding/exploring to do.
Take your time, it's going to be a while yet. Dont worry.
Collab hype!
Awesome stuff.. cannot wait
I'm looking forward to this. Just started in the Ashlands. Hopefully, when this releases, I can jumo strait into it.

@@daniellindsay5960 mistlands is cake compared to Ashlands.
Plz for the love of God make the Deep North super dangerous!
Like all biome, it takes a few time to get the good stuff and feel confortable. Ashland remains very dangerous even with the best stuff 😅
I'm gunna need a year to get through Ashlands the way it's going - no portals is proveing challenging
@@cmdrvernondingo1540 the setting? Oof, rough
No doubt Yuletomten will be the npc of this biome 🎅
Reason i stopped playing i want a full game so i dont need to start over
you have never needed to start over in valheim what you talking about? each update allowed you to keep making progress on same world
