  • Alright, time for the first livestream in our collective Social Distancing efforts. Come and bring your questions, as we talk about the projects we want to do while we have more time at our respective hobby desks. What are you pulling out of your stash? What tips would you like from either myself, or the Mudfather himself, Mr. Ralph Renzetti! Check us out at 3pm EDT, 1pm MDT, and Noon PDT. (And about 9pm if you live in Switzerland! ;) )

Dave BNSF Nscale I understand your nervousness but it all come down to Practice, Practice, Practice. The more you practice the better you will get, the better you get, the more confidence you will get, the more confidence you get will help you over come the nervousness. I was like that with a Broadway Ltd $350 Mikado, I don't have that problem anymore>

For your information. All Tamiya "Flat" Paint - Prefix (XF) - is primer paint. Ask the manufacture (if you can speak Japanese). I have shot gallons of Tamiya over the years. I used to order it by the case load when I was a commercial artist. ~ Boomer.

Scamps92-rr we covered it on the show but FYI, Stynylrez primer (by Badger), Dulcote when using acrylics, Matte /Satin Acrylic when using Mineral based paints and I do use Future or gloss acrylic when I'm applying decals. So here is the thing about Future, it is a natural acrylic and it self levels if place flat.

My God man, when you're a host and have a guest who is there because he is a known expert and you ask a question....SHUT UP AND LET HIM ANSWER!!!
John I am a new subscriber to your channel because I liked another video you did and then I saw this. I am very familiar with Ralph and his work but you kept either quietly belching or talking over him. It drove me nuts!!
When you're doing a show by yourself, talk away but when you have a guest, you are a FACILITATOR between your viewers and your guest NOT A COMPETITOR. You should NOT be the one yapping 85% of the time!
Also, drink water. Lose the Diet Pepsi while on air.
I know this video is 2 yrs old. I hope to God you've improved since then or I'll move on.
