    I've heard that there used to be some form of controversy surrounding this watch, but I'm not sure what it was. but still a spectacular looking piece nonetheless!

      It was if you can call printings on the dial a "complication" without the gear work. And is all three hands for telling the time 3 different complications, or just 1. Regardless, like you said, this is an incredible piece of engineering

      the Aeternitas Mega 4 was released way back in 2009, while the Grand Master Chime was released 5 years later in 2014..

      Im a developer that code things on your smart watch, but you cant deny the mechanical watch mechanic that is so beautiful

      Lol, it's literally something made to show off the sheer absurd level of skill of those who built it. Of course, a smart watch can do more for way less, but that's not the point of something like this. A group of humans created this using only mechanical systems, and it can perform 37 functions that all work/integrate together seamlessly. This is about the art of mechanical engineering and the insane levels of precession achieved by the parts fabricator.
