Dave, someone living on the road would go crazy over that van. It is 100% stealth, looks totally stock, would blend in anywhere. Another creative project
Thanks Jerry
Love the sink.
I Love This Model . You Did a great Job. Beautiful Van.
I really like how you did this Van conversion into a comfortable Mobile setup. Thanks for Sharing. There are a couple of ideas that you gave me👍
Welcome. Simple build but I think it added a lot of use ability
Congrats on your latest van build. We are excited to be a part of your future adventures.
AC house power is becoming a necessity for modern van lifers and we are excited to reliably power their adventures.
Everyone acts like van life is a new thing. Back in the 80's there were groups of people driving their vans on a daily basis with the insides converted into living spaces used on the weekends. Most of them had a bed that converted into sitting spaces. Many had conversions that were party areas. Ive seen them with electric fireplaces, sinks. Even a waterfall. We traveled on weekends to other cities even other states for a weekend of partying. You packed everything need in there & went camping!
Can you give me an example?
@EndgameCampers me? Our van had a u shaped seat in the back with storage underneath. It had cushions on top that were covered. We put a covered board between the seats & our son slept there. We slept on a mattress with our feet underneath it. We also added a 3rd seat behind the driver's seat for our son. Then we had a storage space behind that. We just packed all of our camping supplies, food, stove, cooler, etc, in the back & took it out when we got to the campground. Ours wasn't all built out because we had a kid that went everywhere with us. Couples & singles were the ones with fancy interiors. We had a friend that used a wheelchair. She had a composting toilet in hers. We were going to weekend van meets called "Truck Ins" where you had to have a van to get in. They were Friday night, Saturday daytime & Sat night parties. Sat was games, volleyball, drinking games & kids games. There was "Show-n-Shine" where you could show your van in that model group. Sat night homemade plaques were given out to winners & then a band would play & there was lots of drinking. Kids were put to bed in your van & the party got underway. You went home on Sunday. Back when this was popular, there were groups of vanners that formed clubs. When we went to Truck-Ins, we traveled in a group like a convoy. Our club had approximately 30 vans. Our lead van was driven by a guy that went by "Undertaker" & the roof of his van had been cut down "chopped" over the front. He pulled a trailer with a coffin on it. With all the vans running behind him with headlights on, it looked like a funeral prosession. My husband & I had some acreage & twice a year in the summer we had fish fries where he caught the fish, one couple had a huge homemade deep fryer & everyone brought side dishes. We supplied the beer. These started on Fridays & ended on Sunday morning. Those were some of the best times. Even though we have all gone our separate ways & aged, I still consider them some of my best friends! Sorry this was so long.
@@EndgameCampersdeadheads. Been doing it for fifty years
Turned out great! Looking forward to your next project!
Thanks Jay
Another excellent build.
I really like what you’ve done with this van.
Very cool. There's definitely something to be said for starting with one of those conversion vans for your build out...
I agree, it made the build pretty simple.
👏Beautiful job Dave, another one in the books! You'll be building out Sprinter vans before you know it 😉👍
Thanks Jonny
pretty slick van!
You knocked another one out of the park Dave! Awesome build and great video!
Thanks my friend
Very nice!
If I had money I’d buy this today
It’s a good van. I drive it daily and really like it.
@@EndgameCampers I’m jealous
Very nice, , thank you!
Beautiful
Nice and clean build. ❤
Nice build, wish I had your experience
Excellent Bill outstanding
I like how you took advantage of what the van had going for it rather than tearing it all apart , as many others do.
How deep is the cabinet behind the front seat? Can you get 4x8 sheet in with it in place?
Nice job.
Thanks for recognizing that. Yes, you can fit the plywood in with the cabinet in place. I purposely made it relatively narrow for that reason. Off the top of my head, I think it’s about 16 inches deep.
This is nice 👍
Enjoyed again, DAVE
Dave,it seems the desert is really kind to vehicles out there. Just some polish/wax and she looks like new.
Absolutely true my friend
No humidity to create rust. Nice
New you would kill this!! Nice work Dave.
Thanks my friend
Yep, I knew he would ace it!
@@0HARE his truck campers have really been inspiring. I’m building a Chevy express extended cargo van camper myself.
Very nice job. Dave...would love to have that
Thanks Mike
Good Job.
Great ideas! Thank you again.
Joe from Smyrna Delaware
Thanks Joe!
Hmmm... *takes some notes*
Now if only I had the money, tools and knowledge! 🤠
Dave, just the solar, inverter, batteries, are quality and expensive. That saved a lot of work and money.
It definitely did!
😊
NICE
Thanks
Another great job Dave! How many miles does the van have on it? And what kind of gas mileage does it get?
106k … as far as mileage, I’m not sure. I believe the prior owner said 15mpg on freeway, but I haven’t confirmed that.
Dave, I know you probably mentioned the stain color on cabinet before, but I can’t remember. Small changes made a huge difference with the pre conversion before you. Have you checked to see how much cooler it is keeping this van since with covering the windows? Thanks
I unfortunately don’t remember the exact stain color, but it was definitely a brown. I think maybe just dark brown.
You’re in LV? Me too, 27 years! Do you ever sell your conversions? Teresa
This is for sale now. Send me an email if you are interested.
is this van for sale?
Which cell phone lavier are you using..siund quality is great
I believe it is called smart mic. I just purchased it on Amazon. Thanks
where did you get your motorized couch fold down bed
It came with the van.
Nice 👍 van 🚐
No shower no for me. 😮
Huh???
There are a lot of “ fitness centers for van life “ in all 50 states.
@lbl9066 a comfort of your home is complete with a shower n toilet.
I had a bed in my van exactly like that and it was horrible uncomfortable
What is your height and weight and what orientation did you lay down?
For sale?
It will be. I need to assemble the ad. Send me an email if you are interested.
