Congratulations on two years of full time RV travel! My parents sold their house in Iowa, rented a storage unit and bought a Winnebago class A in 1989! They traveled the USA and after two years decided to slow down and plant themselves. They did keep the RV for another year for any possible road trips. I enjoy all your destinations and informative videos, thank you!
@@LivinRVision We live in Fort Dodge and my mom is 89 living in her own house. The RV life was great for them in addition to visiting kids and grandkids in eastern and western US.
Loved the avatar, hilarious!! Congrats on 2 years. Like how you show the true feeling of the areas you explore. We’ve added plenty of new places because of you.
Spent my life trying to find the perfect vehicle. You always have to give up something to get something else. Thanks for taking us along, great videos.
You are right, there is no perfect rig. Always pros and cons to every single one, which is why we are having the dilemma. We’re close though!! Thanks for watching! 🧡😁🤓
Definitely agree with you on the maintenance of a DP motorhome. Seems like every time I turn around I discover something else I'm suppose to be doing to it. A Travel trailer would eliminate a lot of maintenance issues.
Happy RVersary 🥳 & thank you for the laughs along your way. Michelle you are so good at the editing. Splicing and cartoon head additions are awesome! I am glad you dropped the duck tape sound affect though..
We purchased our Airstream Flying Cloud 30 over three years ago and loved the simplicity of it. We recently sold it ( for more than we purchased it) and purchased a new Airstream Classic 30. We just spent this last week in it as our maiden voyage and so far we are really loving it. Like you guys we will definitely miss our first Airstream “Shiney Hiney” and all the places she took us, but looking forward to new adventures in are yet to be named new Airstream.
Agree with your "just get out and do it" recommendation. Would add two thoughts. Do not go expensive and do not go Class A. But all is different for folks, depending on your RV/mechanical experience. Talked with a couple who purchased a used Mercedes Class B/C - Brother in law was a Mercedes mechanic - all good. On the list thing - it's not just old folks or full timers that need lists. Everyone needs to make lists and keep track of what needs to be done by prioritizing important against doable. Using lists is great advise. Great video. Hope Vinnie sells and you can move on to the next stage of RV life.
Hi Pat, we are SO glad we went with the Class A. It was a childhood dream I had that became a vision and absolutely no regrets. In fact, I would love to stay with a Class A myself. The experience is not even close in comparison on travel days. Even Michelle agrees now a d has been second guessing the Class A. We’ll probably change this time around and then who knows what our next will be. We don’t plan to keep any RV long term. I believe to find a great buy and then get out while you still have equity (1,2 or 3 years) then do the same again. You are absolutely right, it’s all different for everyone and their wants and needs. More news coming soon! Thank you so much! 🧡😊🤓
I don't know why with you both working full time you would want to dip into your you time to share your life with us. Selfless is all I can say. Thank you
I'm gonna be sad to see Vinny go. Catching up as fast as I can to see what life brings to you next! No matter what, I'm sure happiness will follow. Safe travels!!
Hey we deal with same back problems. Just got into the MRI few days ago. Fingers crossed. But I hate our dolly too but have to have till we get a flat towable car or truck.
Prayers for a good result! That’s where we were with the dolly also. We just bought the car a few months before realizing we were going to do this lifestyle.
@@LivinRVision Thank Ya! It's one of the big reason why we got into this lifestyle. I do love your new rig set up. If we didn't have to carry so much overhead in materials to sew and the machines in the RV I would downsize again too.
Thanks a ton, again, for the video. You guys are the reason we decided to flat tow before we even bought the motorhome. Had to wait a bit to pay off car before we bought one that could be flat towed. So we owe you for that advise. Not full timers but in 19 months and 4 days, will be most timers. Thanks, again, for another valuable video! Have a great week!
So glad we were able to help! I don’t think you will regret that decision. 👍🏻 19mos and 4 days will be here before you know it! How exciting! 😀🤓 Y’all have a great week too!
I'm excited. I love your creativeness with your videos. Loved how you added the little guy, & Michelle talking to it like she didn't see it. Clever! Have a really nice week.
Thank you! 😊🤓 Well....to be honest, she didn’t see it because I added it after recording during the editing process. When I started working with the videos clips it was then that I seen that the sun was overexposing the camera, so I was trying to think of what I could possibly do to fix it and I decided to see if this would work. Appreciate your very kind words Kimberly! 🧡😊😁
After 3 years if RVing, we said goodbye to our tow dolly. The pluses were we had a fwd car. The minuses were; not all campgrounds had room, sliding underneath to hook safety chains, stopping to tighten straps and once we got trapped where we had to unhook. It took a month to sell on Facebook marketplace. I also had it on Craigslist and Ebay. I bought my daughters Cr-v, which can be flat towed. No more crawling underneath. Hooray!
Congrats on your 2 year RVersary !!! We just passed our 1 year RVersary. We learn things everytime we take "Maddie" out. My wife retires next week and we'll be full timing come January. Excited and anxious at the same time.
Congratulations on your retirement! We'll be doing the same in a couple of years! We have a 43' toy hauler and love it. It also helps that I have driven trucks for over 40 years because some of the campgrounds we've been to are kind of tight. If you have not purchased the book "Living the RV Life" by Marc and Julie Bennett I highly recommend it. Take care and good luck!, Wally and Susanne Williams
I agree with the being a truck driver helping, but I think a lot of it simply comes natural. I used to drive a commercial straight truck and have towed a boat and that’s it...but it’s always been something that I just had the natural ability as far as perception. It can be confusing for some people when backing up. That’s one thing I love about the Class A, so simple even at 40’ pulling a tow vehicle. The vehicle follows right along and doesn’t cut in like a travel trailer or fifth wheel. So many pros and cons to each. We bought the book from Marc and Julie also but only got about halfway through it so far. Thanks for sharing.
You guys are great, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. My wife and I look forward to seeing your videos every week. God’s Blessing, Best wishes to you. Maybe someday we’ll join you on the road.
I can't hit that like button enough times!! LOVED the impromptu Memoji!! Brilliant job!! Happy Happy 2 year RViversary!! 🎉🥳🥂Can't wait to see the new home!
Great information as always, and helpful too! Good luck with Vinnie. Can’t wait to hear the replacement plan, next chapter. One suggestion to consider though; I’m retiring and we’re buying a 5th wheel in the first quarter 2021. We quickly learned, after much research, you’re best with buying a 1ton diesel if you go with a 5th wheel. You’ll spend just a few hundred more on a 350 or 3500 and end up with a much more payload capable tow vehicle. We learned this lesson the hard way, with dealership assistance we special ordered a F250, when it arrived the yellow payload sticker rating ended up too low too close to a reasonable payload safety buffer. Thankfully the dealership allowed us to choose another vehicle (a f350) which positions us to safely pull the trailer we are focused on. Mark and Trish from KYD has a great episode on this and Mark has links to a great and very useful payload calculator. Also JT from big truck big rv .. maybe do a collaboration episode ??? Again .. good luck!
Thanks! 😊🤓 Yes, we can confirm as we have learned the same thing as you through research. I have seen the calculator and we have watched nearly every episode of KYD. Both channels have some good info! Thanks so much for sharing! 😊🤓
More great stuff guys. Thanks for providing your insight into potential situations that you may not always think about in advance. I'm just over 3 months in and have learned so much by just being on the road. I've learned from you & a few others to take things in stride & don't blow up at every little thing that doesn't go as planned. We are blessed to be able to do what we do & I hope we cross paths sometime down the road. Best, Brian
Thank you so much! That’s how we all learn a f this while RV community is amazing at helping each other. We may not give as much info as some other channels, but that’s because we try not to be exactly like the others...mainly because there are so many out there that do a lot of the same things. We really try to bring a little something for everyone, from entertainment, joy and helpful tips along the way. We hope we will cross paths sometime soon, we are sure we will! Safe travels! 🧡😊🤓
Great advice for any rv enthusiast. The first thing to go for us was the dolly. What a nightmare to deal with. Then we let go of our class A gas mh. After 3 years, we found a 30 ft mh with 3 cats and a husband who loves to watch football too small. The only way around was either to go big and spend a lot more, or sell. We chose to sell. Did not want to commit to 350,000 to a large new diesel pusher. Now have our winter home as a mobile home in a park in Palm Springs area. Much less expensive. But we still admire those who still live and travel in an rv.
My dream is an Airstream. Maybe someday I’ll have one. For now we just found a 2017 Micro Lite, only stored indoors and used maybe 4 times. It’s our 4th TT with a break of about 13 years of owning thanks to travel baseball. We won’t be full-timers (that’s another dream 🤷🏼♀️) but, I can’t wait to get it home and start our adventures!! Excited to see what you choose as your next home!! Safe travels!
We are excited for you & your adventures with your new rig! We are getting close to making a decision about our new home. Thanks for watching & safe travels! 🧡😁🤓
Two years, boy the went fast!! Thank you for all the lessons learned. We’re sure you will take all you’ve learned to select your next coach that will be just right for you. We think you should get a ......lol. Wayne and Carrie
Love the video look forward to each week one thing I did not realize is how hard you two have to work. I'm curious to see what happens after Vinny is gone. I hope you stay in the game.
glad you enjoyed the video Ray! Yeah the work can take away from the enjoyment sometimes. We’ve been looking hard lately to find our next home on wheels. 👍🏻😊🤓
A great informative video! I'm retiring on 1 July and looking forward to at least a third to half time RV'ing to check out the lifestyle. We're trying to decide between a smaller Class C or a towable. Your videos always include teachable moments so I watch your videos with pen and paper. It sounds like life without Vinnie is getting close. I'm sure you'll both do fine with separation anxiety since you'll be so excited about the new RV direction you choose. I suspect you're leaning towards the Airstream and I know you've done tons of research, so any insight you might offer on best equalizing trailer hitches would be greatly appreciated. Safe travel and thanks so much for the time and effort you both put into each video; you are RUclips 5 Star Plus in my book if there were such a thing!
thank you so much for the kind words John. There are many different hitches available that people like for different reasons. I honestly can’t give the best advice since we have not tested any of them but we have heard of a quite a few good ones that everyone seems to like for different reasons. Depending on what you get for you RV, I would then do an online search for “best equalizer trailer hitches for 2020” would be a good starting point. Pay attention to the websites the reviews are coming from and don’t pay much attention to those having a ads as they can be biased. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.
Really enjoy your honesty. Thanks again for the TT info you gave me. I did contact Kimberly for information. I am leaning towards what you have. We like warm weather. Still catching up on you videos, hope the Airsteam works out.
I had a laminectomy and a discectomy a year ago and I am still recovering. I had to make a lot of changes with our Class C Greyhawk when it comes to lifting and bending. Be careful with your back!
Thank you very much for your informative RV lesson(s) learnt. For me it's always interesting to see the differences between USrving and European camping. Being retired three and a half years now, I must say that I was lucky to be able to start camping at a very young age (tent, trailers, van). It's never too early to start Rving. I hope Auntie Corona will disappear soon to allow for free travels in Europe. - Since I do not have Paypal, I can only send Michelle a virtual Black Forest Cherry Cake of the tastiest quality. Brian, cheers, you must do with a great beer. Greetings from Bavaria, Germany.
“Aunt Corona”! 😂🤣 We would love to and have hopes that we will RV Europe in the coming future. When we do, we will hold you to that Black Forest Cherry Cake for two. 👍🏻😊🤓
@@LivinRVision No problem with the cake. Start saving for Diesel it you want to RV Europe. Here in Germany Diesel will be about 10 Eurocents per liter more expensive as of Jan. 01, 2021, which means c. $ 5.5 per Gallon!!!! 🚙
You guys are awesome. Always enjoy your vids. This was especially informative and helpful as my wife and I are approaching F/T status. (She retires at the EOY) I also thought the Animoji overlay was also extremely creative. Happy Holidays you two🎅🏻🎄
Thank you so much for your kind words! Oh boy, you both have got to be getting excited! Congrats on the upcoming retirement! 🎉 Thanks again and Happy Holidays to you both as well! 😊🤓
Let’s just say, “it’s going“. 😂 I think finding a new RV is worse than trying to find a new car/truck... and now we are doing both. I think we’re getting closer though. 👍🏻😊🤓
@@LivinRVision So, have you decided to go with Airstream classic? Or with some other band towable? Just asking because we are also on the fence to down size to a class B+ diesel or a class C. We currently have 2017 Airstream 26u and 2017 Ford f250 platinum. Also, I have seen 2017 Airstream Classic 30 at our local rv dealership. They just got as a trade in. VERY CLEAN!!!
What is name of the app you use to find the speed of wi-fi in campgrounds? I also use to drive a huge (35') rig pulling a small Honda CRV but w/ a tow bar that unhooked & folded up on the back of rig. & you're right, it was always something that needed service! As I've told you, next rig will be a built out van & a Tern cargo e-bike to zip around towns or to store! Going to keep it real simple this time!! Logarithms!!
Well, Well, is it an Airstream???? Thanks for reviewing 2 years. We are going to be forced to purchase a Dilly Dolly, but I have been trying to talk with my BEAUTIFUL, LOVINGLY
Yes that was a few months ago .. my Uncle had a nice Airstream and we always envied him. He left it to my cousin who traded it in on a fifth wheel. He should have kept the vintage Airstream

Two years, boy the went fast!! Thank you for all the lessons learned. We’re sure you will take all you’ve learned to select your next coach that will be just right for you. We think you should get a ......lol.
Wayne and Carrie
Yes it did go fast!! We hope we have even more fun in our next rig, which is a ... 😘
Take care & stay safe! 🧡😁🤓
The emoji was hilarious 😂
Congratulations on two years of full time.
Safe travels!!
😂 that was an improvise that I was not expecting to do but had to pull something out of down under! 😉 Thanks so much! 🧡😊🤓
Congrats on the 2 years.
Thanks Lisa! 🧡😁🤓
Happy anniversary
Love your videos
Has to be hard to keep up with comments but I am sure people understand
Thank you! It is very hard at times but we love to read them and converse with this wonderful community. 🧡😊🤓
Hi Brian and Michelle! I am excited to see your next home-on-wheels! 😀. That improv-fella was kinda cute ! 😉.
Hi Jolene! We are too! We’re getting closer to a decision!
😂😬
You’ll never have everything perfect in your set up BUT…you can come damn close. Can’t wait to see what your getting next!!
So true Lori. We are very close to pulling the trigger on one! Thanks for watching! 🧡😁🤓
Really enjoy your honesty. Thanks again for the TT info you gave me. I did contact Kimberly for information. I am leaning towards what you have. We like warm weather. Still catching up on you videos, hope the Airsteam works out.
You’re very welcome, Doug. Hope you can get what you want. Thanks! 😊🤓
Great video
Thanks Dennis!
I had a laminectomy and a discectomy a year ago and I am still recovering. I had to make a lot of changes with our Class C Greyhawk when it comes to lifting and bending. Be careful with your back!
So sorry to hear of your back surgery. Hope you will find relief from the pain. We wish you safe and happy travels! 🧡😁🤓
Congrats 2 year's
Thank you Elizabeth! 🧡😊🤓
Really cute face at the end. Go Hawks. Great info.
😊🤓 Go Hawks!
congrats on ur rversary!!
Thank you! 😊🤓
enjoyed video thanks for sharing
Happy to hear, thank you!
We would love to and have hopes that we will RV Europe in the coming future.
Wow that is high! 💵 💵
Happy two years anniversary
Thank you so much! 😊🤓
Thanks again and Happy Holidays to you both as well! 😊🤓
You two are awesome..😊
Thanks Jackie! 🧡😊🤓
Drum roll the search must be going good this will be fun .
We are close to making a decision!
Call it a day. Thanks.
👍🏻😊🤓
Sounds like a sequel is in the future, or not. Lol. Great job you two!
Hopefully way more than two more years. 😁🤓 Thank you! 🧡
The app is “Speedtest by Ookla”.
Would love to go simple and enjoy more off grid areas.
Well, Well, is it an Airstream???? Thanks for reviewing 2 years. We are going to be forced to purchase a Dilly Dolly, but I have been trying to talk with my BEAUTIFUL, LOVINGLY
Not 100% yet. Keep up the sweet talk and we’ll cross our fingers for ya! 😉😁
Yes I knew that you would understand!!
Binging
Thanks for watching!
Cool vids...new sub. I have a 02 monaco executive 43ds. Enjoy your content!
Thanks so much! That’s a nice coach to have and built very well!
Nice
Thanks! 😁🤓
We have decided that Connie will follow in the chase car like you guys do
Sorry so late responding, we're using a RUclips tool to find comments that somehow got missed.
Yes that was a few months ago .. my Uncle had a nice Airstream and we always envied him. He left it to my cousin who traded it in on a fifth wheel. He should have kept the vintage Airstream
So if you sell Vinny what’s your next purchase?
Yet to be determined.😊🤓
Brian: we haven’t killed each other yet...Michelle: YET. 🤣
I laughed too...she didn’t. 🥺 🤔
I would sleep with one eye open 🥴
😂😉
Is that fuel card only for diesel
unfortunately, yes it is.
Will not allow us to ring the bell
Try unsubscribing and then re-subscribe and see if you can click the bell then. We’ve heard that works for some.
Worked
We will be going full time fall of 2020
Check out the Thor Challenger video I uploaded to our channel ‘ Next Adventure Travels ‘ yesterday
And ring that bell
Does the TSD card work for gasoline?
Just on Diesel, John. Sorry.
Hi guys! New subscriber here! What work do you do full time? I would love to know what your RV office looks like for full time work. :)
Hi Janet! We show our office setup in a few videos and now we will be showing our new setup in our new rig coming soon. Michelle works full time in Payroll and I work full time on the channel.
I work as a national Ediscovery Project Manager and have been working remote since 2010. :)
That is awesome! Sounds like it would be a fun career too!
Hi guys I'm dropping RUclips and going to rumble hopefully you join us if not thankyou for sharing your adventures and God bless you.
Thanks for sharing Mike. We have not checked it out before, so we’ll take a look. Thanks!
