Thanks for posting this is a wonderful rarity, do u have any of the interviews that Janice did in the '90s to promote her autobiography or any of the ones she did to defend Barker in the early '90s that you can post?
5-07 through 5-40--the funniest moment ever on that show! I remember seeing that myself when Couch Potatoes was seen on NBC 4 NY...late at night...but I had one of those things called a VCR back then.
5/16/89, based on the Day in Music History bit. Joe Alaskey for whatever reason wasn't available for the last several weeks of the run so Jim Mckrell filled in as announcer(he was the announcer on Sweethearts with CN Reilly that season). WInk Martindale, Jim Lange, Peter Marshall, and Johnny Gilbert were the other stars on this game show week IIRC. They gave the champions' winning total of $6K at the beginning, but their two day total ended up being $3550
The host of the game show, "Couch Potatoes" falsely and ridiculously politically correctly claimed that Janice Pennington and the other "The Price is Right" game show models are " hostesses" on that show which they definitely are not! They do not host the show! Bob Barker hosted the show!
Oooh, this episode mentioned Alvin and the Chipmunks! 🤩
Thumbs up if you shouted, “AYE AYE CAPTAIN!” when Mark said, “I can’t hear you!”
From later in the run, after Joe Alaskey finished his run as announcer and on camera neighbor. Jim MacKrell became the new announcer
DO I remember this episode!! And it was that very question about getting moved!
best agent we got
@ 26:28 - The buzzer that was placed when a team lost was taken from "Press Your Luck."

Originally broadcast May 16,1989 from WROC in Rochester, NY
Local Rochester NY station channel 8 used to be NBC and channel 10 used to be CBS then, they switched affiliates circa 1988
