It's good to see this condition getting an airing on RUclips. Keep up the good work to both of you.

Great early question at the 1.15 min mark. Our 2 children were triggered on the same day, after a car accident with their dad. Then myself 15 years later..
Thank you so much for creating awareness

Thank you so much I played a part in a movie where I had a Tourette’s an albino alien journalist and my acting coach said why don’t we give her Tourette’s and I was like what’s that she goes oh it’s where you just start like kind of twitching and you’ll kind of like square was you and so I I put that into my character I didn’t have Tourette’s at the time at all I didn’t twitch or do anything but as a result of trauma by people that tried to shame me for being me and severely so I reacted and now I have a when stress happens I have the reaction of a my head bubbles or my heart I get very reactive to the slightest sounds at the more stress I’m under the more pressure I’m under to conform and the more a much the more pain I’m in the more it flares up I bought some I really prayed a lot to have it healed and it is definitely sometimes not even there at all and other times it does come back up like you said even when you’re excited about something positive it’s like my my nervous system tops out and the only thing I can do it is sort of convulse and it’s really humbling I’ll tell ya boy I really as a ballet dancer I really liked to have control over my body and to be able to be smooth and graceful and I have it do some kind of convulsive reaction outside of my control is very very hot disturbing one night I did it all night long and convulsing all night long and it had to do with the impact of another human being and how it affected me in a sensual sexual and emotional way and so I was at the peak of my stress at that time but I really appreciate this video by the way I also love how you express yourself woman I don’t know your name how you express yourself physically with the red hair the red sweater the the peekaboo shoulders with the rhinestones all the way down the plain make up the long hair I really love your balls look how courageous of you and them to pick such extreme colors and such at a dramatic and defined look I’m all about being true and authentic many people would say this is attention seeking vanity unnatural and demonic and egotistically but I do not see it that way at all I see it as an artistic work of art of genius by God have you expressing your divinity and a gift to all of us so I wanna thank you for that and also the messages about Tourette’s and I like the pill thing what is the pill for the cure for Tourette’s it’s given to the other people and I think that’s true about our individual glamorous fashion choices what is the cure for that giving to the people that are in the deposition of superiority and judgment live and let live that’s what I say both with Tourette’s and with our unusual and unique fashion expressions that unique hair color and thank goodness I’m not like you I have bleach blonde hair and I’m 62 years old and I wear a fluttery flower dress and I wouldn’t want to have your hair color and I’m sure you wouldn’t want to have my hair color but thank goodness God made both of us individually to be unique we don’t have to put on a secretary frumpy dumpy outfit or dye our hair gray or brown or be what we naturally came out of the womb with we can experiment and play and find a look that is authentic to ourselves in this time. And we may change our mind as we go get older but isn’t it fun that we can express ourselves in such a dramatic way I love your message I love your luck and thank you again for another great video love and light from the desert 🌵🎊😃🖼🤍🌵🤩☕️🌈

Hi Darren I follow your content and it's very enlightening, I am just wondering could you explain a video of maybe how kids grow up feeling about narcissistic parent (mother ) and non narcissistic parent, the kids view off both potential long term relationship problems for the non narcissist , thank you I know I'm off topic with this video, I just enjoy how you explain your topics

the Eiffel Tower analogy was awesum. such an eye opener bcuz i thought Tourettes was all about 'swearing and aggressiveness'
to belong, to be heard, to be understood and accepted.. [the human condition]
.... we are all individuals .... [monty python echo in my head.... 'I'm not']

Nah, can be a few things happening, for any number of reasons.. motor and phonic tics . I have medication induced Tourette's called tardive dyskinesia..
During my last 2 of 4 pregnancies, I was given this same medication and those two children have tourettes.. mainly body movements and a couple of verbal blurts when the kids were younger.
My neurologist is sending me to a movement disorder clinic, so we can get to the bottom of the cause and a better quality of life..
When women are pregnant, we rely on better advice & just not nice to encourage us to take antiemetics and antidepressants. PubMed have a lot of Studies on dopamine and serotonin suppresses. Can cause autism as well.

can someone please explain to me why tourrettes is considered neurodivgent?

I have a mild Tourette syndrom. The real Tourettes is not those tics. They can be suppressed and ignored. The real Tourettes are all these impulses from beneath (a leaky basal ganglion) that make you idiotically hypercreative, and give you ideas that you must concentrate like a Buddhist guru to keep away. While normal people fight to get inspiration, you yourself fight to calm all those ideas down.
