Hi there! Youi do beautiful work! My question is one type of scroll saw do you use and what size blade? I can't spin my wood as quickly as you or my blade would brake. Any suggestions?

Fiona, you should do a short video on just how you are able to mix and get the colors or shades that you desire. There is one area of the blue stream that appears to have been dark along the outer edges and then lighter in the middle. How were you able to do that?

I have been researching different ways to keep the resin from pouring out the backside. Yours is the first I have found simply using the silicone mat and pressure with clamps. It seems it’s quite successful, is it the only method do you use.? I have not attempted this, however I just received all my resin and tints , so I will begin experimenting soon. I have just subscribed to your channel,, beautiful work.

I wouldn't for a moment recommend it, I am sure there are many more 'pro' techniques. I am a cheapskate and didn't want to spend a lot on new 'stuff' that I might not get into using! Worked OK I guess, biggest problem is bubbles where the wood is porous sealing it first might me helpful? And estimating how much resin it would take without waste. Good luck x

Could you just use clear plastic tape across the back until the resin dries?

How much of a difference does tilting scrollsaw make? I may try this as well if it would help my neck and back...

Makes a difference to me. I have been working this way for a decade, so would find it hard to change back. The only problem with is work will slide when you let go and blade changing is slightly more awkward until you get the knack, but apart from that, I find it very much easier in my neck. Not sure that hegner approve but its my saw....
