One could place it on a flat bed scanner and save the note, or, you can take a picture of the note with a smart phone, tablet or digital camera and then, bingo, send the note to Evernote. So, there.
Non-replaceable battery means that this thing is destined to become e-junk in the land fill when the battery dies. The battery is rating for 50,000 wipes, but we all know that manufacturers exaggerate these claims. Some reviews on Amazon report the battery dying after 8 hrs. Remember, these things sit on warehouse shelves for months before they're shipped out. Which is not a concern for gadgets with replaceable batteries.
I like it, but I use so many temporary notes at home/work it isn't funny. I would have preferred the ability to change the battery and I don't like that it is no where near as bright as it advertises. I was irritated at having paid 35$ for it at first (yes it's cheaper at Staples) but after using it today I find it worth that cost.
@SpriteTechs Maybe someone with a speech impediment, to communicate with others by writing messages on it. I've seen at least one person using a Magnadoodle for that.
The only way i would consider this a useful tool would be if there was a way to save your note to pull up at a later date if needed.
Version 2.0 of this could be really great.
It's actually made by Improv Electronics with a Brookstone logo on it.

it needs memory!! i would take notes in class and transfer it to my laptop!!
you know you can extend the stylus it doesn't mention it in the instruction book
Paper FTW!
You can play..Tic Tac Toe..OH I LOST. x)
@GregoryF1919 , good luck with that.. my teacher doesn't let me use my tablet to take notes :(
@GregoryF1919 google the noteslate it's the same thing but with memory

lol at the box throw
@GregoryF1919 there's a new one out that lets you do just that! Check out the website. It's a little more pricey though...

Theres a smaller one with a pen holder included
what type of batteries?
it needs a save feature and away to transfer to computer then i would buy one
Ja będę taki miała. Na urodziny! ^-^
U can write with ur fingernail, and mine also has a pen holder built in it.
Why are all people that review touch screens always writing with those large letters. I want to know how normal writing looks like...
so you mean that after 3 years of erasing 50 times a day the battery dies?
And my box says 500,000 erases can be made
a neckstrap?!
@xMATHIEx Everyone.....
i wish you could erase instead of deleting the whole image
I'd prefer to wait for the Noteslate because it's better than that!
Go to noteslatedotcom and see which is better.
So basically an expensive whiteboard with only 1 colour and you have to wipe everything away
@SpriteTechs
probably someone who could spell "their"
It doesn't connect to transfer your sketches/notes to PC. It is basically just a chalk board for people who don't get laid. I'll buy 1 million of em!
@xMATHIEx Someone who's mute..
It would last 2.7 years if erased 50 times a day
This is good for me cus I cant touch paper
meh...i wouldnt pay for it. but its cool i suppose. modern etch-a-sketch
ITS A JOKE. god people dont understand irony....
This idea seems kind of half baked... when the noteslate comes out, it is going to destroy this piece of garbage.
