The mailboxes were definitely my favorite. The pig was so cute.
Oh my, that’s a tough one to be able to pick my favorite as I loved each one but if I must it would be the mailboxes, especially the one with the lavender. Are you sure you’ve never arrange flowers for a living? ( I know you were a hairdresser) but when you do your arrangements they look so perfect. The ideas with the large star n adding the metal with its great patina along with the wreath was so good looking. I bet either one will sell quickly.
I’m getting to like that milk paint more n more. I love how it makes your piece really look old n it’s been around awhile.
I keep forgetting to order that rusty crusty patina from Dixie Bell. I’m gonna remember to do it right now. So gotta go. Have a wonderful Memorial weekend.

I bet you could take one of the small 4” grapevine wraps a pull it apart to make a birds nest with eggs added to your flowers. The stars would be cool in red, white and blue too.😊

I really like what you dd with the wreath takin it apart. Really made the star and the wood star looks alot better. I think it was because it made it look not so overwhelmed. The post boxes I have always loved them. They turned out great and I love the green pickle paint. The piggy sitting by the post box looked so darn cute. I would style them on my porch together. Milk paint is really not my thing ! It's too unbrediktable for me, you never know ,how much crakkle you get ,if it crakkle to much ...

Sorry to bother you Yvonne. I don’t know if you’ll get this comment as this late date but I just ordered the patina in iron n the spray. I wasn’t sure which spray goes to what but I picked the green for the iron. I’m hoping it was the right one. Being on a fixed income since loss of my husband I can only do one at a time. I do want to eventually get the other 2 bottles. If you got a minute could you let me know. I know your busy n if I don’t hear from I completely understand. ♥️😊👍
Oh.. no it’s a good question. I myself had to do research to figure that out. And I only bought the minimum too. Yes green and iron make the rust. Blue spray adds the turquoise color. For me the copper and bronze patina paint are to close to each other.. that if I knew that I would have only got one of them.
We can only get the green patina spray in Australia. The blue patina spray must have some element in the mixture that customs does not allow ??? Love all your flips ❤

I'm so happy to see that you're using Sweet Pickins Milk Paint! It's an incredible product! Did you know that you could add a bit more powder than water when mixing to make it less runny? I just love how easy it is to change the consistency to whatever you need it to be. You can even make it thick to add texture. Adding heat will make it crackle and chip more too. Oh! I was wanting to tell you, warm water and an immersion blender make it much easier and quicker to mix the milk paint. If you're making a small amount, the immersion blender would work very well though. 👍🏻 My favorite colors to use in that line are- Sweetie Jane, Pantry Door, Oh Olive!, and Ocean. Oh Olive! is probably my favorite! Great job on all the projects! They all turned out fantastic!! 🫶🏻

I loved everything but especially the mail boxes. I have one that belonged to my deceased brother, and I should redo it. It’s not as cool as the 2 you found, and I can’t believe you found 2 similar mailboxes and all those stars in the same week! What a blessing!

Yes.. you can reshape a basket the same why .. though you’ll need something to help reform it while it dries
