I really enjoy Michael Buble's music. He is one of our Canadian treasures. He is one of the few artists keeping the great crooner style music alive. He's made traditional pop standards & the Great American Songbook popular again.
Michael Buble hails from Burnaby, a suburb of Vancouver, Canada and never left. He has some great songs, some of which he wrote. The video for Haven’t Met You Yet was filmed with his wife when they were dating at an independent specialty supermarket in Vancouver. He’s the king of cool, the James Bond of Canada and was recently on the NHL All Star Game supposedly (by his own admission) on mushrooms. He certainly seemed him on something, but he’s usually pretty high energy and engaging. He can really sing. You won’t find a bad song of his.
Michael - Mr. Buble is one of our very best Canadian treasures. He's just a GEM. My mom and I had the honor of getting VIP tickets for his show a few years ago in Toronto. We were in the mosh pit right in front the the stage. Michael - with his very charming and outgoing personality - smooth as silk voice - with the orchestra behind him - was just a phenomenal thing to experience. One of the classiest concerts that I've ever been to. Check out Sway and Fever.

The video and also the instrumentation definitely harks back to 1960s James Bond films. But also, this song was written by singer composer Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse for the musical The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd. It was first performed on stage in 1964. They were a songwriting team and Newley usually wrote the music and Bricusse the words. You've probably heard other songs by them, for example, What Kind of Fool Am I, Who Can I Turn To (When Nobody Needs Me), and Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Another Bond connection is that Newley collaborated with John Barry on the title song for the James Bond film Goldfinger (1964), sung by Shirley Bassey. My favorite version of Feeling Good is this amazing live outdoor performance by then 10-year-old Angelina Jordan of Norway: ruclips.net/video/7HaMvkflBAo/видео.html And here's another performance indoors, with a better jazz band, about seven months later, just before she turned 11. ruclips.net/video/p8kAL-sGJx8/видео.html
@@robertphelps1574 Anthony Newley wrote the song with Leslie Bricusse, but it was first performed on stage under Newley's direction by Cy Grant in 1964, and later by Gilbert Price, who is on the cast album released in 1965. There were numerous versions by various artists released in 1965, including Anthony Newley's version on his album on "Who Can I Turn To" and other songs from "The Roar of the Greasepaint".

My favourite version of this song has to be ~ Matthew Bellamy ~ "Muse"...
Now you should hear the queen sing this: Nina Simone. I love Michael's version but Nina's .... perfect.
