Awesome cars. I love my 2005, it has treated me well and it keeps up with all my friends, one 458 Italia, one Diablo Roadster, one late model 911 Turbo, etc. The Lambo just gets more looks and pictures than the others, believe it or not.
Great video! I'm finally in the market for a Gallardo and your videos here on ECPP have given me alot of great advice/tips as far as what to look for during the buying process. Hopefully my first Gallardo will be gracing my garage soon.
Only right after the purchase he had issues, a E-Gear '05 model I think, without warranty, such as cooling problems, ignition, leaking themes, and he had to change the clutch twice within 25'000km. So the previous owner did not maintain the car properly!!!!! After finding a serious mechanic in 2013, with him together, he went over all these problems and solved them definitely and radically. No issues came through after that. The car is since then running beautifully and he is not giving it away because he fell in love with it. And I must confess, that I am loving it too :). it's a such a great car that passes you very much of different vivid emotions, a drivers car, the Gallardo suits the driver like a fine Ermenegildo Zegna smoking. Imagine, only when he wants to drive my very old '78 Porsche he is willing to give his "baby" to me too :), that's his deal,. and so, I have the pleasure to enjoy it some times. I envy you two a little :P Your previous owner seem to maintain it good, hasn't he?
A lot of good information. However, could you show what you are talking about on a car instead of your face? Nothing against your face, but the car looks much better. 😊
I am looking at the 360 Modena, or a 2006 Gallardo, I owned a 1987 911 Turbo Porsche and I am ready for a new Toy after selling the 911. Advice Please!! Thank You
Of this group, 360 would not be in the cards as it’s down on power and people want too much for the gated cars which would be nice. I personally would go with the Gallardo more power and more exotic feeling, try both e gear and gated but generally if you can find gated, I would do that. Other than that a 430 would be a nice car but very pricey with the gated setup but good power and last of the easier to maintain Ferraris
@@ECPP Thank you for your response! I agree with the 360, a beautiful car just way underpowered. I like the look of the Gallardo more, and they are similar in price. I have looked at the 430s as well and for around $90.000 you can get e decent one. Im looking pretty hard right now and hopefully can find the car with the right miles etc that will fit my criteria. Several Yellow Gallardos for a great price, I wonder if thats due to the color? I like the color I just dont know if I would get tired of it too quickly. Or its too much in your face driving around where I live in East Lansing michigan. Thanks again!!
badcarrera I had a 2006 Yellow Gallardo. Way too much attention due to the color. I sold it and now have a white 2005 Gallardo. Looks exactly like the one he's showing in this video.
Good info But I find the way your video is taped is claustrophobic. I don’t know if it’s just me, but you need to back up a bit more instead of having your face take up 50% of the screen. No offence
I love this vid you have done thanks a lot really I still want to purchase a Lamborghini tho but I want to purchase an Aventador one but you really done a great job on your vids very informative bro thanks a million bro keep up the great job of making these vids make some on the Aventador too that would be great to do when you’re able to okay...
What about the second gen gallardo like the 2013 one? Is it more reliable than the 2008 one bc the first gen clutch don’t last long and just not reliable
Second Gen car is only marginally better and these single automated manual gearboxes just do not wear well. The later car has a better front end and a bit more power but the first Gen cars sound better
I’m about to turn 18 which is the legal age for me to drive in my country, is this a car that I should drive as a beginner driver or should I avoid it till I get more experience on the road?
I’m on my 3rd power steering drive gear... after the recall the pump must be stiffer... stripped one side but the dealer network did not seem to thing they have any higher failure than previous... tbd 🔥
ExoticCar PlayPlace I'm currently looking into an 05 or 06 both with new clutches. Would you say an 06 is a must over the 05 where they are both around the same price? My current car has cost me just about 3,000 per year on just maintenance and I'm not trying to go much over that. My other option is the older generation R8 V10 but I'm not sure if they have hit the point where there price won't go down much further like the Gallardo.
ExoticCar PlayPlace I know they have the same engine but the 05 is rated at 493 hp while the 06 is rated at 520 as per the update. Would you say you get around 20k miles per clutch? I live in Miami and will only be commuting about 4 miles per day. No more than 4k miles per year. Just trying to determine how much in maintenance would really be for my circumstances.
ExoticCar PlayPlace First of all, thank you for your responses. Second, I am definitely leaning toward the Gallardo especially because I am much more confident in not losing money on actual car value. The maintenance difference is no doubt large and if I was as confident in not losing money on the R8 as the Gallardo it would be a no brainer even though the Gallardo has been my dream car for years. Lastly, are you therefore saying I should drive the car in a different mode than regular automatic for clutch life?
I want to watch this video through, but I'm having personal space issues with how close your'e talking to the camera. Back it up about 5 more feet next time!!
05 has the lift but its really slow and the button is down on the console..ide rather it be on the righthand column lever.. Good advise on the clutch replacement.. Ide be interested in the computer mod the shops offer with an exhaust upgrade.. Any advise appreciated..
Blah Blah Blah Blakh The GT-R is faster in any situation, Japan put all possible technology into it, with Turbo, incredible electronics and a 4-wheel drive par excellence, but... but more EMOTION and Soul gives you the Gallardo with the V10... just a poem Greets & Cheers
Driving a Porsche 911 is definitely a downgrade. Have owned both, people only notice a Lambo. Porsche is like a golf, common cars everywhere you go. There is nothing like a Lambo
Thanks man I'm about to buy one.

What color Gallardo did you get?
@@ECPP
Your stock 05 keeps up with a F458?
Rob Level same just got one myself
I bought a ford pinto for $5 from a guy named cleetus. Doesnt run so I cut out the floorboard and got me a nice little flinstones mobile
Lol the camera woman constantly playing with her hair. Good info though.
I don't think tavarish watched this video
He does cheap lambo only
Gallardo is still my Fav lambo ..
Great video! I'm finally in the market for a Gallardo and your videos here on ECPP have given me alot of great advice/tips as far as what to look for during the buying process. Hopefully my first Gallardo will be gracing my garage soon.
Good luck in your search. They are great cars.
This guys eyes blink in burst mode
This is my dream car idc if it’s reliable or not I’m getting one.
I hope your paying more attention to not having reflective surfaces behind you when filming if someone else is doing the filming.
Are you reading a script? No judgement it just distracted me lol. Thanks for the input this is very helpful
Haha, thanks for watching.
I suggest watch this in 1.25 to 1.5 speed. Top 3 button at top
This is my Favorite Lamborghini . Is my dream car
Thank you very much
Nice thoughts and facts Mark.
Unfortunately my cousin bought a Gallardo some years ago without checking these points :)
Now he got wiser.

So that explains why I see all these videos and pics of them on fire.
Best insight mate. Thanks for your input.

Great tips as I’m buying one ☝️ 👍
Essential watching for anyone shopping for one ☝️
Thanks a lot. Great cars
Lol ur the best

No offence
Item number 7. Check your lower lip. Not on the car, but you missed a spot when you shaved.
Cheers
Well, this saved me like 100k, thanks. I'll have to rethink my mid life crisis... I only get one, right? lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
10,000 miles clutch ? Mines done 23,000 miles still has 80% on snap

You look like sully irna from godsmack
Not the nicest looking Lambo

Man i remember your first video with the m5 now you got a lambo nice work bro keep up the work
My mom and dad just bought 2 lamborghinis, great cars so far!!!
Great
I’m on my 3rd power steering drive gear... after the recall the pump must be stiffer... stripped one side but the dealer network did not seem to thing they have any higher failure than previous... tbd 🔥
That power steering pump shaft is a weak point and my mechanic actually keeps those in stock because of this reason.
05 up Gallardo with stick shift has collector value
And much pricier and harder to find is a manual LP
ExoticCar PlayPlace what about an 2004 ?
ive never met someone that played with their hair as much as the woman behind the camera. Info is great but sooooooo distracting!
lol, true, you noticed too?
Like I’ll ever be able to buy one
Who knows, maybe sometime. They are worth owning
I hope
It’s been my dream car for a while
Skip the headaches and buy a Porsche GT3RS!!!
10k for a e gear clutch? What makes you say that?

Great cars. Actually one of the best for sounds, reliability, looks, and cost
I want to watch this video through, but I'm having personal space issues with how close your'e talking to the camera. Back it up about 5 more feet next time!!
Thanks for watching though. You like the car?
Definitely Canadian.
You bet. Thanks
Guyardo
Nice. Awesome. Cars either way.
05 has the lift but its really slow and the button is down on the console..ide rather it be on the righthand column lever..
Good advise on the clutch replacement..
Ide be interested in the computer mod the shops offer with an exhaust upgrade..
Any advise appreciated..
The exhaust upgrade should not need a computer update unless you remove the Cats. Muffler only is just bolt on. Cheers
Thank you for posting this. Good to know this.
hmm. I dont think i wanna buy one now haha
Nice. Either way I would certainly do it again. Nothing like a Lambo.
@PORSCHE GIRL Porsche for sure.
I got that 911 on your picture
Is the e60 m5 still faster than the gallardo ?
Safraz Housein yes
Actually no. The Lamborghini is alot lighter.
Horrible video editing.
Thanks for that vote if confidence
My Lambo definitely needs a new clutch
How do you know >

My brakes had rust on the sensors and caused an engine light.
That sounds strange for sure.
Huracan is the way to go! Bulletproof engine 💪🏽
True, the whole car is actually quite sturdy for sure. Thanks
ExoticCar PlayPlace may have just been the quality of the gallardos I’ve driven
Front splitter
Cheers
Is the 2004 Gallardo faster then the Nissan GT-R?
ExoticCar PlayPlace I mean the 2006 GT -R
Blah Blah Blah Blakh
The GT-R is faster in any situation, Japan put all possible technology into it, with Turbo, incredible electronics and a 4-wheel drive par excellence, but... but
more EMOTION and Soul gives you the Gallardo with the V10... just a poem

Porsche 911 is an upgrade from a Gallardo.
As much as a Lotus Exige is an upgrade from a 911
lol no its not
Driving a Porsche 911 is definitely a downgrade. Have owned both, people only notice a Lambo. Porsche is like a golf, common cars everywhere you go. There is nothing like a Lambo
Black rims cheapens a car's look
In person it is stunning
@@ECPPLooking at your vid the car looks stunning, but to me black rims give a car the look having spare tires on
Bruh I already have one
Nice what color?
