Thank you.. i think strain energy is directly proportional to modulus of elasticity and Inertia
Inversely
Its not deflection, its regarding defect i believe. Deflection is different. However, it is an amazing lecture. Thank you.
Tqsm sir... I understand everything on your teaching, very well, nice sir..! Tqsm sir 🙏
Sir strain energy ko resilience bolsakthe hai kya.resilence bhi same defination hai na
Thank you sir

Sir ur teaching is super but I have a doubt if strain energy and resilience are same why we take different definitions sir pls reply as soon as possible sir
I think it's because strain energy it's just "energy" as it self.. and resilence it's energy that can be absorbe by specific material
Resilience is a special case of strain energy as it is the maximum strain energy that can be stored upto elastic limit.
Very good explanation sir
Thank you!! I learned so much.

Thank you sir, it is very helpful
Thank you sir apna mera stress dur kr diya
respected sir,
in some questions both option is given (I.e strain energy & resilience),then they go for strain energy bez they defined resilience as a total strain energy stored in a body ...IS IT CORRECT?
Is strain energy not stored if we go beyond elastic limit? Also, why is it called resilience? Isn’t that what we also call toughness?

Thanks 😊
Plzz explain strain energy in torsion of a shaft in terms of shear stress
please make video on castigliano method.
if we calculate maximum shear strain energy for uniaxial case from distortion energy formula then it comes out to be (sigma)^2/6G. But according to formula 1/2G * (shear stress)^2 It comes out to be (sigma)^2/8G. How is this discrepancy coming?
Is there any tutorials available on balancing ?
very much helpful fr me
Are strain energy and elastic potential energy the same?

Ekeeda
Sure sir
Tq sir
thank you very much sir
the video was very informative
@9:20 when you write sigma , sigma in which direction ?
what happens to strain energy beyond the elastic zone? Is it still strain eneergy or it is being transformed to other kind of energy?
however if elastic limit is exceeded the work done during non elastic strain is spent in overcoming the cohesion of particles of the material ,causing them to slide one over another and the energy expended appears as heat in the material strained
And the energy becomes a waste. Am I right?
Sir u r great.....
Hats off 👏
Thank you !
Mai aapka fan ho gya
Wonderful what a simple way of explaining
Thank u sir

Graph for stress in impact loads
Work done by the loaded material or work done on the loaded material??
Abhinandan B It's one and the same thing.
very helpful class
Hii sir why strain energy is half of the potential energy
please do a video on energy method for beams
Resilience is not a strain energy, Resilience is the ability to store strain energy while applying load within elastic limit on the body and release strain energy while removing load. so body will regain its original shape/size.
resilience is stain energy until it is mentioned in the questions or anywhere else
thank u
Why we divided volume at modulus of resilience?
Super
