I could never have one for practicality reasons, but man that tape box is so fantastic! Rock up to any gig or studio day with one of those and everyone's gunna know you mean business! 😊
Ohhhh my my what a sweet treat to see and hear! What a jam session man, I could kick back with a crown and coke or a cold beer and listen to y’all mess around all day!! Thanks for sharing all this kickass stuff with us Eric!!
Fantastic-so interested and fearful of these old units. Finding someone to work on them, but damn if that preamp isn’t the best sounding of all these old tape units. Playing was great-your no slouch
Is that #3 jack a 3rd input? Is there any difference between the inputs? Volume differences, etc? Just trying to understand why there would be three inputs (I could see two being cool for a stereo output instrument, making it mono in the output, but still). Thank you, great video!
Hi there, I love that Video,... as I am the proud owner of that Setup as in the Video (E51 restored & Fender SR) my question is, how your output DIN-Jack cable is soldered - which pins did you use - I tried different options but I am really curious about your setup :-) thank you for your message.
I've had 2 and they are great when they work. Very unreliable..motors tend to burn out and you have to find another unit to replace the motor. Also the preamp V1 is very temperamental.
You bring this amazingly complex machines but you only use slap back and play those sterile SRV licks. What’s the point ? Let some chords ring man ! Take it easy !
Less SRV licks and more chords would be much better for demoing gear. We are not here for your music. We are here fore the gear. Playing one note at the time you can’t hear the complexity and what the gear can do. Thanks !

Would have been nice to hear how this sounds without the slap and with the longer echo’s too, motor half-speed
I never get tired of hearing that strat or that relic tele you play a lot. And that’s coming from a Gibson guy!

Dude! I didn't realize you did anything outside of the Iraqveteran8888 channel!!! Your coolness factor went up by a factor of 50 my friend!
Ripping, man! Sounds great 👍
