i know someone else probably pointed this out. so forgive me. but this is the Korean dance practice. for Fallon they used an American dance team. so its different in a sense. it is so emotive and sensual. an amazing piece of dance. love all your comments. 💜
If you don't know this choreography is brilliant! Superb! I like it better than the MV which distracted me. This way there are no distractions. No lighting, set, and costumes. The focus is on Jimin. And he tells the storyline through the choreo. You can see his face, facial expressions, body expressions, sexiness, feelings, mood, and what he is thinking. He is so smooth with this smooooth choreo. Kudos to the backup singers. They are really good. The one girl dancing with him mirrors his every move. Did you see the "Butter" choreo move? Also, I can hear the song and music better. When I saw the MV the song did not stick in my head. This version does. I feel any director that doesn't let us see Jimin in full really restricts us from the whole impact and concept. As I write this you are saying some of the same things. We agree. This dance practice is the best. And actually sells the song better. Jimin is amazing. Dare I say ..the Michael Jackson of Korean pop...or of the world. He really could become #1. His potential is unlimited especially now that his mindset has set him FREE.
it's actually the same amount of people in the dance practice and the performance, and it was different people since he went to perform on Jimmy Fallon, and the dance practice was in Korea.
Now that you mention it maybe the whole dance scene is a dream since it was during COVID plus I can see it as a microcosm of a BTS concert, they have so much fun interacting with ARMY but in the end they go home alone and there is a loss and a closeness of a warm relationship there is always a distance between us even though we love them with all our hearts but we are always looking for each other these words cant really explain what Im trying to say but I tried
Really like this Like Crazy very Michael inspired with certain movements and Isolations together with the dancers very well smooth and relaxed Jimin is really good at incorporating different things
You two are so cute! Yes dancers on Fallon are US (NYC based ) dancers. What I loved was that they were from different ethnic backgrounds to reflect the US as well as Jimin and BTS fanbase since Fallon can be seen globally. I love that! This practice is at their HYBE studio in Seoul. The dancers are Korean probably HYBE dancers or trainees and most likely will also perform with him on KBS and the M Countdown shows.

i LOVE how intimate this choreo is, all the dancers did such an incredible job. this whole choreo feels so jimin! that reflection part blows my mind every time, so fire! 🔥 one of the dancers is nonbinary as well, and they talked on instagram about how much of an honor it was to dance with jimin and how freeing it felt for them.

There are some differences in this choreo, from the performance on Jimmy Fallon. I have a lot of thoughts about the whys, but we will probably not hear the reasons from them. Two sets of backup dancers. One from his home "team", with whom he was able to practice and easily converse with. The other had to prepare for the performance without his presence until literally the week of. Add in the need for translation, for the NYC practice and performance event. >>There was one in the NYC group that is Korean, which is super cool. The only thing is this dance practice is more dynamic and captivating than his Jimmy Fallon performance which kinda sucks because I know 2 people who aren't Army watched Jimmy and found it boring...now I have to show them this dance practice. I just want people to see Jimin's talent.

@@charonsworld To be honest JM was still delivering choreo! Plus, He was singing and focusing also on that part too. So ofc it won’t be the same as dance practice b cuz he is only dancing here but on live he is multitasking and saving a breath and energy for able to sing. Maybe he seemed more focused b cuz he was singing every line in English too? It might be a also the factor of it. Moreover I think US dancers were more loose , free and individual while KR dancers were more precise, strong and clean. Everyone did great to be honest! I also realized that the US girl who touched Jimin face were seemed a lot closer to him than it was from the korean girl 🥹😭🤣 maybe I’m wrong don’t know heh😅 But I would like point out the part where JM was dancing duo with female dancer, the KR dancer’s moves were more exact on beat and smooth with him than the US dancer. She was exactly mirroring him that almost seemed a lot more perfect and clean to me. But US female dancer with short hair that danced with jimin also catched my eye. Her lines were pretty! Sorry if talked too much 🥹🫶🏼

For me the jimmy fallon was looser and this dance practice is tighter like more precise. Probably because he’s worked with these dancers than jimmy fallons dancers.
These dancers are soooo much more in sync with Jimin…they are beautiful dancers. The ones from the Tonight Show…..several of those dancers over danced big time…..it was, for me, distracting😥. These dancers did their job beautifully and did not pull focus from our boy! Sometimes less is more….American dancers😳
