Yeah, and I don’t get people complaining about you said city of Truro because yeah, they made it in the branchline range but it’s like rare now so we need a new one and seeing it in the Thomas line would be cool
That’s a good point. Though even if Bachmann were able to make characters from the model series, I still can’t see them making City of Truro anyway, unless they did Railway Series characters.
The prices in the catalogs are not reflective of the actual prices. Those are specifically the prices for retailers buying the items. They’ll always be cheaper from other retailers. Also to answer the question regarding the Ice cream van and Water tanker. The N scale line according to a rep at NMRA 2024 is decided on by popular sales. Both of those items existed or still exist in G and HO scale so that’s likely why they chose those two. Vs say the milk tanker, which cgi counterpart is now discontinued in G scale. It is unfortunately less popular now. I do reckon if we get more tankers it will be the first one slotted in
@@SodorProductions it does. However I do think it’s important to reference the prices via trainworld or other websites in future to get a more accurate comparison. The point about the prices being an issue still holds, it’s just those specific ones aren’t what the consumer has to personally buy
Semi unrelated but bachmann announced that they’ll be releasing duck, daisy, scruffey, Terence, and a vegetable van here in the UK meaning we don’t have to import them! So that’s nice
When I get into n scale I’m probably eventually gonna get all of them did one of those those people that I love details but I’m not too picky if certain things are not right and the faces I’ll just see if someone can 3-D print them so I can get original show faces
In my opinion, it’s necessary to be critical of things you care about. You can’t just heap unending praise on things you like. If you truly love something you definitely have things you wish were different or better than they are. We all love Bachmann, but there are so many things they could do better than they do.
I got a few points, namely with pricing, first, I come from the UK, and for British steam locos, we have a lot of issues with our n gauge tender locos, namely we only have dapol, 2hich are notably bad for performance, the n scale range have bearings, coreless motors (the best in motor technology) and even flywheels, if I had to take a guess the higher quality mechanisms likely are why they are priced higher, and also to get an LNER A3 from dapol its about £163 roughly, so I'd say 200 for gordon is definitely worth it Also they gotta make edward now, he's the last of the steam team to be released
It’s unlikely they will do that. The G scale line from what I heard stopped because the bigger engines like Gordon and Henry would be too big and too expensive.
I really like the N Scale line of Bachmann, not only am I hoping they make Oliver in this line, but I hope they make Edward as well because he is my favourite engine. Since they're releasing Diesel and Paxton in the N Scale line, I just know they'll release Sidney, Mainland Diesel, Arry and Bert as well as all the other Class 08 Diesel Shunters if they're made in HO Scale in N Scale as well.
I think N scale in general and in T&F is the future of the hobby. I watched a documentary on Lionel which explained how HO scale was at one point seen as a niche scale for people who were more serious and/or had less space as opposed to O scale which was for kids and/or just the average joe but then eventually HO emerged as the most common scale. I think that right now HO is the new O and N is the new HO, and I think that in a decade or two N will eventually overtake HO to become the most popular scale. I personally am more interested in HO just because of how much stuff is available right now, but I don't think you'll regret "getting in on the ground floor" of N scale.
I live in Canada so when I look at Bachmann Thomas stuff on their website I have to convert it to see how much it is. But in American money Thomas for example in ho scale is $121 so to see the n scale more expensive is crazy
Also there were plenty of people in the comments on the last video complaining about your ideas and you not agreeing with how Thomas is currently being treated by Mattel, which is hypocritical given the fact they’re giving out to you for not agreeing with them. Oh, and let’s not forget, some of them even said that AEG is now 3 years old as an excuse to shield it from criticism, which is really stupid given how a lot of people still give out about BWBA when that ended before AEG. Not only are their arguments stupid and invalid, but some of them are also kinda disrespectful to the current generation of children growing up with Thomas who deserve so much better than the crap Mattel is currently putting out for them. I guess these losers really can’t handle someone else talking about how they would fix Thomas, how sad.
Honestly I know it sounds unrealistic, but MANNNNNNNN I WANT A G gauge City of Truro by Bachmann!!!!!!!!! See my main gauge I model the most in is G gauge, and I just love g gauge for how big it is.
To be honest i never had any Bachmann items i want to get some but man it to expensive for me and i don't think il get into the N scale because i arms are to big man
I’m just gonna say it here and now and I don’t care if my comment is deleted bachmann could retool their existing n scale pannier into duck and their existing 14xx (I think) into Oliver by stripping down all the big details then adding a face walah you have an n scale duck and Oliver (we also need Edward and the scots)
Yeah, and I don’t get people complaining about you said city of Truro because yeah, they made it in the branchline range but it’s like rare now so we need a new one and seeing it in the Thomas line would be cool

@ yeah I totally agree. I just think it’d be cool to think about.
Great video
also I just finished making episode names. Scripts will be written soon. Thanks for the help in that livestream

It still drives the price up regardless. Retailers have to make money too.

0:44 You might wanna sit down for this one
I think the n gauge items just keep getting better, I definitely see a bright future with it
Again with George Colland swearing at me at the start of every video😂 this is amazing
Amazing video bro, keep grindin 🔥
Thanks! Will do!

You should make a video rating your fans channels but honest like a normal person
Everyone is chatterboxing about a remake for some n scale engines, or wanting new engines like duck and hiro. Bt me personally, i just want edward.

Interesting about Dapol! Hornby's rival.
I just hope it’s not like the G scale line where they release like 6 engines and then they just quit on everything

Agreed. N scale will become much more popular. I think people enjoy the visuals of HO more though.
I really need to get into N-scale
I sure hope they release Henry soon because there’s no way I’m buying the tomix
Btw there is an H/O scale milk tanker
Yep...

Ah yes, my favorite channel, the having an existential crisis over Thomas the tank engine channel (this is a joke)
Hehe.

@ oki
Honestly I still want my Edward
Peak!!
Let's go baby
Those N Scale prices are insane 🤯🤯💸💸💸💸
over 100 and they dont even have dcc or sound, better off buying the japanese n scale models
I think the high prices are for the licensing fees.
Prices still go up regardless. Look at Rebecca.
The diesels are HO scale sadly. No N scale diesel yet.
Read.
General Kenobi
Edward, duck, Donald and Douglas should be next.
Wimp womp
you are now my fav
