While weighing in our options, Balarama Holness has my support and vote. Dishearteningly, the CAQ is well on its way to a majority win. A CAQ win may signal a greater degree of erosion of our human rights, access to healthcare in both official languanges, and autonomy. I do not know what my French speaking peers see in voting for François Legault, a soft spoken tyrant. I, too, would like nothing more than to protect French as a valuable language. What I do not want is to remove the rights of non-Francophones so as to acheive that important goal.
