these are amazing points and gems that each and every parent, child, teacher(coaching and school) should watch for sure and it holds a lot of meaning.
the cbse and ncert need a big wake up call from all these points made in the debate.
if u make students take a walk in the park for 10 years and then expect them to run a 100 m race in the next 2 years its just dumb. this 10+2 system is bullshit.
also improve your teachers and schools, they are messed up.
also if what they are asking in competetive exams isnt even there in your textbooks then please rewrite them.
you should expose students to various fields and jobs before they choose a stream so that they know where their real interests and strengths lie. if you don't then what do you expect them to do?
Nice debate by Ndtv, very informative and really nice points made by the panellists. there should be more debates like this. thanks for doing it.
GOVT of India wake up and sort out this screwed and messed up system before its too late, only then will your country progress!

National testing agency destroyed results by implemented percentile IITJEE MAIN 2019 JANUARY. They didn't transparently show how percentile is calculated in different shifts. 21 questions awarded bonus after Declaring results. NTA should be scrapped in its very first year.

Tough is a relative term. For someone with enough preparations nothing is tough. But for an unprepared individual even 2+2=? Would be a tough question.
Jee is tough because it requires preparations which involves studying concepts, developing strategies, solving problems, using your brain to tackle some dynamic problems, memorizing and lots more.
Again the tough in above is relative. As someone who is comfortable with all the efforts will find it easy. The problem is not everyone is comfortable with the effort they have to trow in. Lol. So yes it might be a tough exam.
Second: our education system is such that students are required to join coaching in order to crack these exams. Why not schools teach these knowledge so the students would be prepared right from their school without wasting moneys on expensive coachings.
Now the main problem is you spend so much money on 3 subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths only and for only one entrance exam JEE. Now all the time while you go for coaching you have a fear of failure which is amplified due to the money you spent. So not only students but parents are stressed too. And the parents have to double stress their childrens to make it sure that they succeed. This is getting worts every time.

    • @rj-nj3uk
      @rj-nj3uk 5 лет назад +1

The toughnes of JEE is stupid. Because students could choose branch which waste the knowledge they gained during JEE prepararions (if they ever gained any knowledge, as the preparations is mainly exam oriented rather than knowledge oriented. Theres a difference.) when they go for a branch like CS. These branch might require some concept of maths but not physics and chemistry. So the efforts in all those preparations is kinda wasted. Also there is a side effect of all these Jee hype on M tech students. They clear gate exam and (gate exam could be considered as equally difficult to jee) have more technical knowledge but still they are less aksed for anything than a b tech students who cleared jee.

Agreed with prof Sharma’s views. Our education system is completely outdated narrow viewed, underdeveloped when it comes to school education. It make student nothing but a good book Crammr and knowledge gatherer rather than being innovative, creative or rational. Being studying in Canadian college, whatever so far I experienced is that there is lot to do in Indian education sector. New fields have to be created should be given equal importance too. Freedom must be given regarding selection of courses at early stage. Mode to study should be changed. Remind students do study not for passing the so called exams and tests. They are doing all for earning and learning. There must be more presentations, group works, practical works, rather than written exams and tests. A lot to say that’s not enough

@@nithin1729s We do already have them in our books, charging and discharging of capacitors, combination of capacitors and resistors, all based on Kirchoff's voltage law. We do have derivations to find out the amount of charge stored in a capacitor before and after discharging, that's a bold topic which's there in almost every version, and if you go with the Epic HC Verma, its even more distinct.

This situation never came , most of students have no proper study material, and they more emphasized on quantity not quality. And opted big institute rather than that if students go with videos lectures of etoos motion they succeed easily.

IIT JEE identifies some bright minds among children. But doesn't add any value in the 4 years. The UR and R categories has made situation miserable. Except the top 200 or may be 500 are very good. Another 1000 may be bright kids but the rest is junk. These 1000 students are bright inspite of IIT. They would make it big anyways. The rest are incompetent.
