On 23/Dec/2023, I looked up a grocery receipt from 28/Dec/2020, then totaled up the same groceries, i went to the same store, picked the same items, same size/weight, and the same brand. The 2020 bil was $93.00, the 2023 bill was $153.00, and prices have only gone up since.....

When my son was born during covid, i was able to stay home to take care of him. Since 2021, my husband's pay has been cut about $30,000. Prices have gone WAY up. Gas was $1.85 here in pa when i left the work force. Were at $3.87 now. We dont buy anything extra and no junk food when grocery shopping. Its costing us about $300 per week just for meats and cheeses. Im being forced to go back to work this week just so we can continue to make it.

@@lovepugs05there’s videos and books on how to can food. I would check them out. But in answer to your question, I believe you have to pressure can meats. It’s been years since I’ve canned anything but it looks like I might start.

Keep prepping food, water, medications. Keep rotating these items. Start planting, harvesting, and canning. Our forefathers did it long time ago to help their families. They did not trust the government.
