York is a very vibrant city. There's lots to do for all ages. Great pubs, restaurants, and wine bars ,shops, and a fantastic market. It's definitely a magical place. We stayed in the Guy Fawkes.
A real find, right in the heart of York, the apartment is beautiful a Georgian building I am guessing, the style of the sash windows is a clue. Stylishly decorated to a high quality, kitchen wonderfully equipped for self-catering, someone has a true flare for interiors, excellent lighting. Really good to have that little courtyard, looks peaceful. My gosh for that level of finesse the price is amazing! Loved the filming on the streets of York a sense of Old England I can imagine characters from the classic novels playing out their stories. Lovely thank you Marco Polo 😊 x
Love York. We always stay at The Exhibition Hotel at the Bootham Bar. Usually approx £85-90 a night for 2 x B and B. Wonderful hotel, great staff, great location and a magnificent breakfast!

Hi Paul, Use to go to York regularly on holidays, and stay in lodges. The apartment was clean and large, liked the bathroom was quite big. Good that everything was there. Good idea taking fifty pounds out. Enjoyed your review Paul.
Saying the mattress protector ‘looks nice as clean as well’ as he glides over and films a long brown stain… I’m from York, it was a lovely apartment and a good price for York. Somewhere I’d recommend to visitors. First time watching this channel, I’m a fan, no drama, no silly remarks just facts.

Hi Paul I live in York and my shop is close to this apartment you got a great deal for the centre of York at that time of year as York is so very expensive great deal.
We recently came back from our visit to York and we stayed I the queens hotel room overlooking the River, full breakfast including lovely spacious room, for less than what you paid paul, so for me queens wins this time, 😅
Hi Haydock. The nearest car park is about a 3 minute walk away, Monk Bar car park off a street called St.John Street. It's pricey, £20 per day plus an extra £4 for overnight parking. I live in York.
@@Megavector2022 Yes not surprised at all with them prices. Think we better stick with the hotel we usually go to.at £15 a night secure onsite parking. But thanks for your input :)

@@louisem7653 there was no big brown stain that's light shadows as I move, you can clearly see the shadow move

Hiya Paul Was there any parking available ? One of our big gripes in York is parking availability and prices. Otherwise we love the place.
I didn't take the car for that reason you will have to check online for car parks but you know there going to be expensive
