For those who have a high-speed blender and no money to buy this equipment: I have a 20-year-old Blendtec (which was called a Ktec when I bought it) and make the same kind of almond and almond cashew milk with that equipment. The only difference is that I have to soak and/or blanch the almonds first and pop off all the almond skins. I actually use just 1/2 cup almonds for 4 cups of water and often add 2 oz. of soaked raw cashews just to make it creamier, adding 2 more cups of water after the milk has been made. I've been doing this since before I heard about the Nutramilk and have just LOVED it (keeping in all the fiber, making the milk richer -- and I do not even detect the fiber). As far as making nut butters, I have made coconut cream (with the fiber), tahini (sesame butter) and peanutbutter in my vintage (heavy metal) food processor with an S blade. The coconut cream and the tahini take patience. I turn it off when it gets really hot and let it cool before continuing, but NO oil needs to be added if you are patient. The peanutbutter was the last I ever did (just a couple weeks ago) and was astonished at how QUICKLY it turned into a very liquidy peanut butter (using unsalted dry roasted peanuts), which I keep in the fridge so the oils and other part of the butter don't separate. I got my heavy old food processor 10 years ago on eBay. Those really heavy ones (it must be 15 lbs.) made back in the mid-20th century in France and was made to last and are real workhorses. Nowadays to get one like mine could easily cost over $100 including shipping, so watching thrift stores would be your best bet for getting one substantially cheaper. The one I got does not have a power-on/power-off button but it starts when you snap the stop portion into place. Anyhow, just a note of hope for anyone like me who loves working in the kitchen but is on a low fixed income.
A high-speed blender may not be necessary, if you have time and patience. I used to make almond milk (the old way) with a $50 blender. It just took longer.
I ordered mine yesterday and can’t wait for it…I have a Soyabella but it a pain to clean and is a lot of work to make milk…..i packed that away a couple yrs ago and bought myself a Chef Wave…it only makes a small amount and I usually end up putting the processed milk into my Vitamix to finish it up because the ChefWave didn’t get rid of the lumps….so this is going to be a game changer…..thank you Chef AJ for showing me this….I also have the Instant Pot and Breville Air smart oven….everything you promote are top of the line….
My 10 year old Blendtec burned out it's motor last week, just after the warranty was out. We make a lot of smoothies. I was always very frustrated with making nut butter and ice cream in the Blendtec. We even bought the Blendtec jar that has side scrapers which is market to make butters. It was not effective. It would create an air vortex and lift the butter above the blades. I always wished I had bought the Vitamix with the tamper stick. Today I ran across a Nutramilk in a discount store for less than half price. I'm looking forward to making smoothies and excited to use it for butter; and obviously oat milk.
Carolyn is so great at demonstrating alllll the different things you can make in a Nutramilk 😉 I need to branch out from milks and try some new things! So glad they have an Aussie distributor 💞🐨👍
Has anyone in Canada purchased this? Is there a duty fee to pay and if so how much? I'm guessing yes but I want to know about how much it will be before I get one! Thanks in advance!
Since there's no straining, doesn't this increase the fat content of the milk? That's one thing about commercial or homemade strained milks, is the nuts are strained out
Yes but then you are getting a true nut milk with fiber snd nutrients rather then weak nut water. You can also dilute it with more water to lower the calories but still have the fiber and nutrients. Most machines leave the pulp and fiber
go to the website and use the search bar for soy milk. I did earlier and there's a whole post on how to do it, but it's a lot more involved, including straining and cooking and straining again. And it lasts a shorter amount of time.
Soy milk, being from a bean, MUST be cooked before ingesting. So though you may be able to process it into a milk, you still need to boil and simmer it (maybe 10 min) to make sure it is cooked well enough.
Hello all, I have a NutraMilk only used twice and I want to sell it. Shortly after I bought it I decided to clean up my diet even more with no more nut milk or butters. I don't have the box for it but it is like new. Let me know. I live in the high desert.
This looks like quite a wonderful machine. I’m a little disappointed because I didn’t think it was a nut butter in your title I thought it was a vegan butter. Can you find someone who makes vegan butter that’s plant base oil free?
I tried to order one today using the link above. The price was raised to $569.95, and instead of $100 off, it was $69.95 off (essentially zero). I thought this was good until 11/29, so I'm confused.
The $100 off will be applied at checkout. I just ordered and it showed Retail price with the $69 discount which made it $499 then in the cart it discounted another $100 to make the total $399 😊 👍

Very interesting. Now I'm debating buying a NutraMilk machine!!! It looks terrific. Love the idea for vegi broth.

Do the nuts scratch up the container?

Are the vegetables cooked or raw?
Any possibility the $100 discount can be extended to 11/30/21?
Wonderful demonstration, Carolyn is so nice :) thanks a lot for sharing
I just order mind and it’s on the way can’t wait to get it need to take out all the saturated fat.
Would also love to see vacuum technology utilized! This is a beautiful premium machine, plz add the ability to vacuum out the air. Thank you
Do you worry about the Omaha 6 s? And calories from the cups of nuts one uses.
wondering if one can get it in sweden
So excited!!! I am officially spoiled! :)
What website?

Hi I'm Janice. I live in Bolivia where the electricity requires 220volts. Do you make the machine with 220Vt and do you ship to Bolivia
I don't believe they ship internationally, but you can check with them on their website.
@@CHEFAJ thank you Chef AJ. I love your show. Hugs from Bolivia

Fantastic!
Does this work for Soy Milk?
I believe so, but you would have to reach out to NutraMilk directly
