This is one of the coolest cars they made since the 90s. Cars went downhill after the 90s, but this one has some 90s DNA right into it, so it's cool again.

the Z NISMO model does not have a unique to trim. It uses the identical exhaust as the automatic Performance Z. The Z in general uses two different exhausts because the automatic can be louder due to a technicality in the California drive by sound test. the Manual Zs have to use a larger muffler

I know what you're referring to regarding the transmission, but the NISMO's exhaust is in fact unique. I've driven every form of the new Z and I can say for a fact that it's significantly louder.

It seems like these are not selling great. I've now seen EIGHT Cybertrucks in person and just one 'new' Z.

That Nissan wants to charge enthusiasts an extra $20k for just 20 more horsepower at the expense of the manual means that Nissan has lost me at a customer.

To be fair, there's a lot more to this car than just power, brakes, wheels, suspension/chassis, etc. I agree with you, prices are getting out of hand, but it's also not just with Nissan, it's across the industry. It's disappointing for sure, but giving credit where it's due, the NISMO is quite a lot different than a standard Z and you really feel it behind the wheel.

Nissan should put the automatic in the lower trim and manual in Nismo. It's a failed company anyway they don't listen to customers

The age of the Z has come and gone. It hasn’t been relevant for sports driving in over 10 years. The rebadging of the Z34 and putting in the VR30 does not qualify this vehicle to be a performance coupe. Considering you can buy a better performing vehicle from just about any other brand for similar money this is a flop by Nissan.

Nah, it’s still a great car for fans like myself who owned a 350z for a few years. Would love to grab one, but on a stick

@@emilxert I bought a 06 350Z track package when it came out, did basic bolt-ons, traded for a 08 350Z Nismo and then traded it in for a 2012 Nismo 370Z. I like the Z33 and the Z34 but this is a Z34 with some lipstick and different engine. For the price tag this thing is not good. You can buy a Porsche Boxster S for less than this Z.

Plus this Datsun is hard to get now based on the dealership allocation inventory supply.
Speaking of which, when will the S13 be completed? Almost a decade since.
