Thank you for your video, Sir. I was about to run a momentary switch straight from the battery to the horn. However I followed all of these steps and now it's working fine.
Thank you soooo much for this video. I just changed my clockspring on my 2007 Nissan Frontier. Your instructions were perfect and easy to follow. You. Da. Man. 😀
EXCELLENT!! I think this as about the 5th Y/T video I watched for this project. I've a 2008 Frontier and this was step by step the same as mine! THANK YOU!
Hey man, wanted to tell you this was exactly what I needed to see to have the confidence to fix mine. Great job being very thorough yet concise. Much appreciated, keep up the great work.
Great video. It walked me right through the whole process. Now my only problem is the airbag light is still flashing. Maybe I'll have to have it reset with a code reader. I know some things won't reset just by disconnecting the battery. This may be one of them.
Really helpful but I would add a couple of things 1 disconnect negative then positive terminal of the battery and wait 10 mins before taking off the wheel so the airbag doesn’t deploy by accident and take your head off 2 - use a blunt tool like a punch instead of a screwdriver to release the airbag module Sorry to be Mr Safety / Debbie Downer Thanks again for the help, saved me £££
Thanks for posting--Had no idea how to remove the airbag. My replacement part did not come with the steering position sensor. Looks like yours didn't either. What does that affect? I had to order another one anyway because mine was defective--turn signal didn't work. But everything else did.
Yeah I wondered about that too. Everything still functioned properly. I checked back with her every few weeks to make sure, and she told me it was fine.
Outstanding,,,, question same year and make horn quit working, all fuses are good when I push on the horn relay the horn works tried new relay nothing happened, do i need a new clock spring or any suggestions????? TY Sigs70
I'm in the scenario. I was given part number 25560-9CH4D from an dealership in Austin Texas for almost $600. However I was able to find it a Hart Nissan for $205.00 plus shipping.
@@jcb5755 Ah, yes. Forgot to update. I used a tiny screwdriver to release them and to put them back was a little bit hard but I was able to get them on place 👍🏽
She ordered it online… it took a while because it came from China. The last plug under the wheel is NOT included but the wheel is still fully functional
Hey- what does the last plug under the wheel do? I noticed my new clock spring doesn’t have the third port and I’m unsure what to do. Not the grey&yellow but the white.

Thank You. Glad I could help
Thanks for the video, made the job much easier, looked for a while and this is the best video I've found on this task.
You left battery hooked up..Balls of steel homie
I've just fixed my wife's car following your video, thank you from Arabia.
Thank you. Short and to the point. 💪
you also need to swap the steering positioning sensor from the old clock spring to the new one.
Great video, it helped me with replacing my clock spring.
The tab at first was perfect

You may have a sensor issue, or defective part. Make sure the plugs are fully seated before you spend any money
Thank you sir, great job/video 👍

It could be the connector inside the wheel. If the relay is functioning properly when you activate it manually that would be my next step

If that steering wheel sensor is still good save it. It's the part that has the yellow and orange pigtails on it. A new one runs about $350.
holy shiiit 😳
Now how the hell did you put those coils back in place?
Coils?
I can't find this part. Any suggestion. Only dealerships have it. their asking prices are arm and a leg?
@@Muezza_my_cat Amazon
I can't find any with the 3 connectors in the bottom any where
@@Muezza_my_cat it may have been taken out completely or you have to move it over
Do you know the torque spec for the steering wheel?
29-36 ft lbs... or 6.5 "thats not going anywhere's" 😅
I can't push back the yellow and orange connectors
Did you lift up the Locking tabs?

Where did you get the Clockspring?

Did the light go off on the dashboard? Because I was wondering about the back part of the clock spring. Since the 3rd plug and back are missing
Do you have a part number you can provide?

@@nickk.3418 Yes the light did go off.
Useless video he already had it out
Did you miss any steps in my video?
