I dont think we should lose a slot in the shop for charms. Each mechanic for the most part has been an addition to the game not a hinderence. RNG is a thing in this game and loosing a slot is a hinderence for RNG, look at that one aug that one aug where you lose a slot in shop. Look at the numbers how many people actually use it.
Im looking forward to the future where mobile players can choose the langauge they want to play in, instead of being forced to play in the language that their system is set up in. I know its a very nieche and novel concept, but i believe that even a small indie studio like riot can make this happen ❤

I'm excited to see how charm's play, as opposed to everyone else here who's just instantly complaining about how they expect them to feel. I understand you can envision a world where you don't hit something perfect and your opponent does, but that's ultimately how the game works. Sometimes your opponent 2 stars their 4 cost on stage 3, and once in a blue moon, YOU highroll something like that. They didn't make them sound insanely impactful, a few seconds of CC or CC immunity can be fight winning, but your opponent won't know who they're fighting until the late game, at which point you also have the opportunity to counter them with YOUR charm.

Ngl, I was hoping for the first Reckoning, as in, the one with Shadow Items. Would've been cool to see the designs for Shadow versions of some of the new items like Jak'Sho, and such. And I also just wanted to play with that set's Warwick, which was always my fav unit of all time.

The units are decent, but not that innovative in terms of abilities (If you noticed carefully, some of them are ability reprints from units of old sets) Thematics are cute, I guess lol. But all in all, not exactly a ground-breaking set that gets me hyped like Set 6 (Augment introduction), Set 8 (Hero augment introduction), Set 9 (Legends and Portals) did. I could be wrong, so let's let 2 weeks of Set 12 PBE seep in for me to see if it lives up to expectations.

But i must add i miss the times that every set had their unique feature like reckoning had radiant items, arcane set had augments that was unique compared to older sets, or dragons that costs 2 slots and expensive but they were strong ! Todays sets doesnt feel that much they feel like same features from older sets but still ill give it a try ofc 😁
Um... sets still have set mechanics. Set 8 had threats and hero augments, set 9 introduced portals, set 10 had headliners (reworked chosen from set 4) and dynamic music, set 11 has encounters, set 12 will have charms.
Yeah charm doesn't feel like a very inspired mechanic. Hell, HS Battegrounds has had that mechanic (temporary spells) for a long time. I was hoping for something more transformative but well I hope the set ends up being fun.
The reminder of Ahse ultiing other board gave me a cool idea. A 5 cost unit like Karthus that can ulti a unit/unit(s) on everyones board. And he steals souls (ap) for every unit killed.
Instead of adding crap that makes TFT special at least and has an insignificant role for Gameplay, they could fix the bug that causes players to stay with each other on the battlefield and not be moved into the portals and nott able to pick up champions. :)
