The normal fairlady z in Japan also had a 2 liter...L20 straight 6. The L24 was mostly export market. If i am correct you could get the L24 in Japan but you would have to pay more tax

432 stand for 4valves 3carbs 2cams this S20 engines is way ahead of it’s time and produce more horsepower than L24 engine.
