Picked this up day one. Masterverse is an awesome line. My priority is still origins as that line has more nostalgia for me. I appreciate Mattel in releasing this since it has a huge backstory. I already have an extra New Eternia He-man that will help me with the extra armor. I will then just need to buy one more He-man. Thank you for the Vykron review, Kyle .
Wow, this is another figure I could have sworn you reviewed already! I will say that the idea behind Vykron as a character is interesting, but definitely more for the hardcore collector. Even if I was collecting Masterverse, this might be an easy pass for me. The “Barbarian” look is really the only one of the three that appeals to me and looks like it could be part of the MotU lore. The tank head is so over the top and goofy-looking, and the “Space Ace” look just doesn’t look all that original to me. Could easily be any other generic toy out there. That being said, I do appreciate how Mattel tried to incorporate the original concepts into the mythology as a single character. That is a great idea to use the He-Man figures for the other two display options, though!
This was my first purchase from Mattel Creations. Is it normal from the time you buy it for it to take almost four weeks to arrive? Also love the idea of getting g two Masterverse He-Man’s to complete the trio.
VYKRON is one of the coolest MOTU characters..has that Conan vibe. Packaging has such awesome artwork, love that. When I got mine I did the same, bought discounted Masterverse figs to put other armors on them. I used the green body of Man At Arms for the Tank Armor- all green warrior! I used the King Grayskull body for the Space Armor so he has brown body & with that helmet he could be Barry Sanders from Oklahoma State. Ha!..Barry is the best OSU player ever ;)
As a collector from Oklahoma thanks for the shout out
Yes. Excellent review. I got mine off mattel creations 4 $16.50 + s&h & tax.
Yes very cool, great review
Really cool figure. Think I like the classics versions better. Smart move buying the clearance Hemans
Great review
