That is something that we all know as resellers, if you step back, no matter how far back, business will slow down. How slow? Well, that depends on how little work you are doing. More work, means more income.
Reselling on Ebay is a Grind, its not an easy route to go but it is very rewarding....Working from home, no Boss to answer too, going thrifting everyday, taking a vacation at any time just to name a few benefits. But understand you will likely be working 10-12 hours a day for little reward when starting out. I always compare Reselling on Ebay to Rolling a Snow ball down a hill. Starts off slow but once it gets rolling it can get big with little effort.
I'm glad you are feeling optimistic Marcus. Me, not so much. My spirit is grieved but I will persevere. Be mindful that there are many factors that affect the economy that are years in the making for a good or bad one. That's why its easy for an administration to take blame or credit, when they had very little to do with it. The economy is a slow turning ship. Also, there has been a promise of temporary economic hardship for Americans. I'm not sure what that means or how long temporary will be but I'm sure it doesn't include the billionaires.
I’m more optimistic about Trump as president because now demonic policies will not be enforced on American citizens that want nothing to do with that type of agenda. As a Christian, neither candidate was the right one but one was the lesser of 2 evils
I so agree with you. I hate the up and coming president with a passion and am honestly sad to see several youtubers say they are glad he won. The president is often blamed for gas prices, the economy, etc when they have little to do with those types of things. With The orange guy wanting to impose such high tariffs on imports, inflation is going to get worse. Again, the rich will get richer and us little guys will flounder.
Great Job ! I'm happy with those $10-$12 sales. But can you believe I didn't get a single sale on Black Friday ! Its my fault, I haven't been listing much these last few weeks....Like you said Ebay is a machine....Gotta feed it.
Today randomly I drove an hour away to a small town. They had a small Christian private school that had a thrift store that honestly you wouldn’t think it would have anything worth looking in it, but they do it to raise money for the school. I went in there and found so many good items that were $.50 to maybe two dollars max it wasn’t by the pound but it had some good brands and it was decent, I’m not sure if there are any of those other peoples areas but a lot of the Catholic charities or any charity really or private school they might have a thrift shop and you should feel good about purchasing there because to be honest with you Goodwill is not even a nonprofit. It’s a Profit company and at least those places they are nonprofit, so they’re not trying Price high why…. There not for profit good will is so if you can’t get a good deal at bins I say look for those line and I’m in Cali was 1.00 per clothing item at the a the catholic charities thrift and another one was non profit 100% goes to cause for food for community for a non profit
I really appreciate your videos. I have always sold part time on ebay but I now I want to make it a proper full time job reselling clothes too. May I ask what sizes are your brown cardboard boxes that store all your clothes? Thanks
I haven’t just started doing a markdown on my inventory. This is something I’ve done for over a year now. It gets cheaper by 20% each month to make items move
I saw a girl in Los Angeles, who would go through specific neighborhoods with very nice homes and she had business cards and she would drive up and down the block and put it in their mailbox and essentially the business card said she had a resale business that she did out of her home so that she would be able to raise her childrenand be able to drop them off and pick them up at school and believe it or not she actually gets a ton of really nice donations
Thank you! But ebay is in decline - many of the large/youtube resellers have moved or hedged with whatnot. Taylor, Chris, tech, you, bo etc are all down 50-75% number of listings. IF the smart money says ebay should be 2nd choice
@@ChristopherBell-v6i I appreciate your opinion but the number of buyers are still largest on eBay. If your looking for quick turnaround, whatnot is the best but if you’re looking for ROI, eBay is still best
