Hi! Since I know I’ll inevitably get the comment ‘that’s not bridgerton’ I want to explain my Inspo was the bridgerton HOUSE like physical house not the silhouettes or interiors or fashions!! I love the way the wisteria on the outside of the house vines over the door and I thought about embroidering the whole house on the dress but considering it took me a whole month (I started June 3) to make this I scrapped the house embroidery 😂

Ahh, I realized it was the wisteria and thought that was genius!! Someone in my town has incredible wisteria growing and it’s so stunning and such an artistic inspiration, I’m glad you went with that!!💜

Stunning dress❤️ i think the dress would look even better with a few White pearls sewn into the corset - it would make the sewn-on blossom pop more and give a beautiful contrast to the green leaves, while giving a glow to the violet tulle. Beautiful dress. Amazing work. Love your designs❤️🥰
Ok I agree w your comment that this is “Bridgerton” inspired, not “Regency” inspired, but holy crap this is one of the most structurally interesting gowns I’ve ever seen 🤩 I adore the lavender color with the deep green accent from the vines! If I was going to a fantasy ball, I’d totally wanna wear something like this!!!

I find it absolutely amazing that you managed to sew that bodice so beautifully! I hated learning how to work with any type of mesh or crinoline material when I started self alterations. Love it! So beautiful!

Otherwise, everything would look like a photograph of reality and true artists expand our appreciation of what art can be... regardless of the media used. Bravo !
