They said former, that was back in October 23, 2021. And he lost to Moose, after he voluntarily vacated the X Division Champion at the same day. This show was happened at April 9, 2022 until April 23, he took it back from Moose.
This might be a dumb question, but I assumed this company did their shows.....in Japan? I could be wrong of course but the location/fans didn't strike me as Japanese
NJPW Strong is like a branch of NJPW in the US. It is similar to how NXT created their NXT UK branch to cater to British fans.
