thank you so much for your videos on both Creo and Windchill, I recently started at Solar Turbines and it was hard moving from Solid works with no PLC/PLM software to those two new software's. You honestly made the transition so much easier, thanks!

I spent a lot of time at Solar Turbines in San Diego back in 2013. Lots of good people there. Very active in the PTC community.

Can you tell me how to copy a plate piece made in one part to another new part, while keeping the extrusions and holes in place? Thanks.

Can you rotate a flat surface around an axis so that it is in a different angle?

...I figured it out....move, then pick items, then the line of rotation, then move, and then put dimension. Thanks for all the videos!

Yes. You can apply multiple translations and rotations. With surfaces sometimes you have to make a copy first and then transform the copy.

What is the advantage (instead of use the pattern feature)?

Typically you use Copy and Paste / Paste Special when you're making one or just a handful of copies, and you don't want them controlled parametrically as a pattern. You have dependency control with Copy and Paste Special that you don't have with patterns.
