Hey man, I think you're a few steps further down the road than me (1 vid up, 1 open mic under my belt) so it's nice to eavesdrop on this open conversation you're having. For my gig I collaborated with another musician who lives near me and has similar taste - maybe this would be an option for you? It means you have to take half the amount of gear and come up with half the amount of ideas (so long as you have a good collaborator!). Being the master of ceremonies is great but there's no reason you can't do 2 projects, solo AND co-lab. Looking forward to hearing your box of Electrons! Best wishes.🙏
Thanks for the idea. At the moment I really don't know anyone else out here in Osaka who is doing music. I've been kinda in monk mode for the past year but it has been the best thing I've ever done for myself. I would be very open to collaborating with another musician. I think if I could find a good vocalist or instrumentalist I could back them up nicely. Even an electronic musician would be fun to perform with. As for the new Electron rig it's great. New videos to come soon. I have been learning a lot and working to recreate my first 30 minutes for music from the old rig into this new setup. I'll e happy to start making music again. The technical stuff can feel like work sometimes.
I suppose I meant an electronic musician but you're right, why stop at that. I'm lucky to live in the UK where EMOM is becoming really popular (google EMOM music) - maybe you need to initiate EMOM Osaka to tempt your local synth-heads out of their caves 🎹🎶

@@SoulSearchingGaijin Im glad I went with 4 channels instead of 6. For me its the Zen Mixer... no menus... no button pressing...
@@RoeJogan I moved it to my main desk so now with the push of a button i can send anything in the studio to it. I'm very happy with the new setup.
