AGO. ....because they have no talent behind the booking or writing - so absolutely no fresh content - and no new wrestlers that can actually draw. Same with wwe. The difference is they can afford Hogan or Goldberg.....Impact can afford Sandman. So they bring Sandman or sabu or dreamer out to do a shitty hardcore spot and desperately try to recapture ECW because they have nothing. WWE do "legends night" every other week because they also have nothing, and push old ass wrestlers more than they push their younger guys because they honestly all SUCK, and wrestling is dead. Tell me how that's a good thing, please.
Impact was the new ecw from like 2004 to like 2019 I only watched good tna. Then off it a few years but back on it with this aew deal

Anyone who claims that Sandman couldn't wrestle clearly hasn't seen his entire career. Back in his time with TWA (the predecessor to ECW), as well as the beginning of early ECW, Sandman (also known as Mr. Sandman) proved that he certainly can wrestle.

It's smart to play to the philly crowd with the ECW guard, but Impact's next big step should be finding the new poster boys. Impact's wrestling is still top-notch, but it's hard to get behind when I don't know who the real faces of the company are. Much of the current roster is either Lucha Underground formers or short time deals. We need new faces to replace the former TNA Originals, especially when it comes to marketability and profits. Every wrestling company should have at least a generation and then move to the next one; holding on to the past always results poorly (just look at WWE and how they're falling apart.) The older wrestlers still have a responsibility to use their experience and accomplishments to promote the company (not talk about their WWE past and if they are going to return ... talk about the company you're currently working in!). Currently, it appears that Callihan, Edwards, Impact, Cage, and Moose are the top players. Rich Swann is on a roll, Mack is impressive for a man his size, Fallah Bahh has shown to be marketable with a losing streak (his matches are getting longer, his move-set getting bigger, is draw still rising), Jake Deaner has movements that could make Roman Reigns jealous, Fulton is a power-freak, Rascals are always entertaining, Rohit could excel as a shoot-style solo act, the North are showing what they can do, and if more performers like them make it to the top then the veteran Petey Williams can finally have his big one. The knockouts would flourish greatly if we knew more about them personally (ex: I love Kierra Hogan aka Firefly but who is she? Where did she come from? Why does she love fire?)
They should take advantage of PWI 500 in order to get more eyes on their product; their schedule makes it hard to rack up enough victories to make it into the top 10 and 20, despite their hard work (which is a shame). Some of those names could pull some double duty victory streaks.
@@PirateForHire314 Sami Callihan, Eddie Edwards, Rich Swann, Willie Mack, Tessa Blanchard, Jordynne Grace, etc are all signed longterm to the company. So yes, THESE are the current Impact guys!
