Do you remember the episode of ECW tv that was almost entirely, if not entirely a 50-minute match between RVD and Sabu? I watched it when it aired and thought it might have been the greatest match of all time.
Possibly my favorite tag team of all time. Innovators of chairs. 😄

@Youposd Rirat she started getting blood clots in one of her legs and they had to amputate it. She survived the procedure but later got sick with covid and eventually passed. She was in her early 50s.
There's interviews here on youtube where sabu talks about the pain, really tough to watch. Sabu and his wife deserved better for giving us their bodies to wrestling all these years
What I loved about sabu is that when everyone was doing chair shots, he was throwing the chair straight to your grill. Simple effective violence.

Sabu was my favorite wrestler growing up. My AOL screenname had Sabu in it. He even tweeted me once and I don't think I stopped smiling, It's so amazing to see him back in a wrestling ring. You did it again, Tony!
