Thank you for watching this video. Rebel is now (2020) quite used to washing and is turning out to be a very talented horse. He will show up in my other videos so look to see if you can find him.
Wonderful. Love it.!!...You did great. So many people stop when the horse freaks and it only teaches the horse to freak to get away from the water. You did great. Glad I found your channel.
I certainly wouldn't aim the water at him at first. I would first let him see look at and be touched by the hose with no water on at all. Then turn it on low with it aimed away from him. Then slowly start with the water on his feet, slowly over time raising the water up his legs and on his body.
If you don't know anything and you have a young horse the most important thing you can do is find a reputable trainer close to you and get them to help you. It will be more beneficial to both of you. Head over and watch this gentlemans basic ground work videos BUT nothing will be better for you both than someone to help you "hands on". ruclips.net/user/WarwickSchiller

Thanks for posting this awesome video !
Finally! A training video without a pre-trained horse to make the trainer look good. An honest training session.
"I train with tomorrow in mind, not for today."
Really captures the essence of training.
Thank you.
My pleasure!

Horse wasn’t the only one that got a fright when the horse turned on! Anybody else see that cat take off? 😅

Hi, I have a 2 year old horse and I want to teach her the basics, but I don't know anything of horses. What videos of you should I watch?

Good job! However, you may just try using the hose without the sprayer.
Absolutely Susan. The pressure build up made it little too much for him. Lesson learnt 😆
my horses name is rebel also :)
We obviously have good taste Shelby 🤩
