Love this one! I would love to develop the conversation about how to hire a Business Developer and not just a Sales person.

Hey Hayley, I've really enjoyed this video, thank you for making it. I've always loved the work at Flow and being Manchester based, hope that one day we can cross paths and I can work with the talented team they have. I've also taken the step to move from being a freelancer to more of a studio. I currently use a pool of freelancers and will be launching the studio properly with brand etc (so this would be an interesting topic for future videos!) Thanks again.

Thanks so much for such a wonderful comment! Maybe we could arrange some kind of meet up soon as we’re Manchester based too!
What specifically would you love to learn more about? We have a couple more coming soon which we filmed at Flow so stay tuned for that one!

@@MotionHatch That would be great, I'll be at the next Motion North, so possibly then, unless there are any other opportunities prior to that. I think it would be great to hear about working out how to position your business strategically, working out a business plan, working out the offering and if it is really that important to narrow down. I do anything from 2D/3D animation using AE and C4D to shooting multiple cameras with audio, and production to edits, greenscreen etc. It's so varied the work I do and get offered, and this is one of the main things I love about it, but I feel a lot of pressure to work out a clear key offering so that when I launch with a brand, the identity and tone of voice and website should clearly show this.

@@dancohen-tv Ahh brilliant, hopefully see you there! Ahh I see, we cover a lot of this inside our course, which might really help you out with this! Sometimes it is better to just show a few services, and show that you're the best in that category - but having a studio can allow you to do way more services and seem more established to clients! Sounds like what you're doing is exciting though! If you are wanting to find out more about the course, let me know, or drop me an email! hello@motionhatch.com
